(AUMSVILLE, Ore.) - Marion County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a reported home invasion robbery which had just occurred at a rural residence located on Olney Street SE near Aumsville, Oregon. The deputies were sent to the residence at 2:42 PM.

Commander Jason Myers with the Marion County Sheriff's Office, says that upon arrival, deputies made contact with a 27-year old male victim who reported that two male suspects had entered the home at this location.

"The victim indicated that he was home at the time the suspects entered the residence and that an altercation occurred when the victim confronted the suspects inside the home."

Myers says one suspect is described as a white male adult, 6', thin build, long brown hair, last seen wearing a blue sweatshirt and blue jeans. The second suspect is described as a white male adult in his late 30'S, 5'06", heavy build, last seen wearing a black Shirt, dark sweat pants and a black beanie.

"The victim reported that during the altercation he was punched and cut with a sharp object on his left thigh by the suspects. The injuries sustained by the victim did not appear to require medical attention."

Myers says the resident reported that during the altercation the suspects took his wallet and later fled the residence in an unknown vehicle.

Sheriff's Deputies and Aumsville Police Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspects.
