(TIGARD, Ore.) - Tigard Police say they are concerned about the welfare of an 18-year old woman who is missing, and considered endangered. Maelissa Ruth Larson has been missing since Friday, May 7th, 2010, when she failed to return home. She was last seen after possibly being excluded from a Tri Max train for not paying fare in Beaverton. This is possibly near Millikan Way stop, it happened at unknown time. Alan Orr with Tigard Police, says Miss Larson has the mental capacity of a 10-13 year old. She had been dropped off at approximately 7:30 a.m. that morning, at the Hillsboro Stadium for work. She is five foot one inch and weighs approximately 135 pounds. Anyone with information about the location of Maelissa Ruth Larson should contact police immediately. I just published this story, and I have to say that if this woman was kicked off a bus for not having fare and is now missing, that the money policies of these public transportation agencies be fully evaluated and updated to ensure a level of public safety. What is it, two bucks? Put human lives first.
