Linn Deputies Find Body in Pond

The body, a white male adult, has not been positively identified. Sheriff Riley advises that the investigation is continuing and more information will be released as it becomes available.

Death investigation

(SWEET HOME, OR) - Linn County Sheriff Bruce Riley reports his deputies have recovered a body from a pond near Sweet Home.

The Linn County Sheriff's Office received a call today, May 7, 2014, at 11:56 a.m. reporting a body was face down in a pond located in the 25000 block of Crescent Hill Road which is approximately 7 miles south of Sweet Home.

The body, a white male adult, has not been positively identified.

Sheriff Riley advises that the investigation is continuing and more information will be released as it becomes available.
