Social Media Site Threatens Cascade School

(SALEM, Ore.) - Marion County Sheriff's Office has announced that an unknown person has made a threat to Cascade High School "after spring break".

There were no other details from the post and it did not mention any specific names of any involved.

Authorities have been in contact with Mr. Darin Drill, Cascade School Superintendent, and informed him of this information. Mr. Drill and Marion County Sheriff's Office are continuing to work together to insure children and families are well informed.

Deputy Andrew McCowan, Marion County Sheriff's Office, is investigating this incident.

We are asking for anyone with any information regarding this threat to call the Marion County Sheriff's Office at 503-588-5032.
