(RANGOON Mayu Press) - An old Buddhist woman accompanied by two young ladies came to the Jewellery Shop owned by Haji U Tun Aye located at the eastern of Meitkilar Myoma Market to sell an imitated gold ornament (not first class gold) around 11:00 a.m., 20 Mach 2013. The shop owner checked the class of gold by testing, then replied it was not a number one gold type. The Buddhist woman bargained and shouted that she wanted to be paid the sale rate of number one gold although hers was not class one.

The woman called out to a crowd of Buddhist racists and accused the shop owner of destroying her gold. Witnesses say it was a preplanned event with a goal of creating a communal riot of Buddhists against Muslims.

About 200 Buddhist extremists attacked and destroyed the man's shop, they tore it into pieces - and they included another five Muslim Shops. The security personnel detained the shop owner, taking him into custody instead of the attackers.

Some Buddhist racists joined by Monks from Pagodas spread the fake news as Muslim attacked Buddhists in the market. This stimulated large numbers of Buddhists to attack and kill Muslims. They burnt down three Mosques, including a large facility named Dahehten and also torched many Muslim houses. Muslims were frightened and left their homes to escape harm.

The Buddhist extremists killed Muslims but the exact number is not yet known. The wounded Muslims are not being admitted to the Hospital or clinic. The authority imposed Act-144 at the time of 09 PM in Meiktilar, Mandalay.

This is totally wrong. The gold owner was acutally tried to degrade the gold so that he make more profits.
And the shop owner ask a mob of muslim hooligens to attack the old lady and one Buddhist woman was died because of attack.

The charred remains of one man were spotted, the Buddhists are the majority, a mosque was burned, not a temple.  Don't use this channel to insert false information.
