(NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark.) - 13-year old Magan Celine Adineh Kharat ran away from her home on Hwy 161, North Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas on February 19th, 2010 at about 3 p.m. It is believed that she may be in the company of a man, Angel Flores of Elgin, Illinois. Angel Flores is 22 years old, and uses several aliases. He met Magan online, and according to family, made arrangements to meet her. She was last seen wearing a green sweater and blue jeans at the Little Rock Airport, in the company of a man matching Flores' description. He allegedly flew from Chicago into Little Rock using his brother's name and his brother's residence card as his identification. The two were apparently trying to catch a flight. One thread on facebook stated that Magan did not have ID to purchase a ticket, and they left the airport. Some say that the reason they have not seen any sign of them in the Little Rock area, is simply that Flores had someone in Springdale come down and pick them up. Angel Flores also uses the names: Omar Flores, Angel Kharat, and Angel Rodriguez.

According to reports, Magan's family knew she had been chatting with "men" online. They tried to put a stop to it by banning her from the computer, but there are many options for going online and Magan got creative, using a cell phone to secretly chat. The teen's family worries that Flores is a gang member, and Magan is in very dangerous hands. Notes and drawings in her notebook showed gang symbols believed to have come from Flores. When she disappeared, the family went to the local police department, but they wouldn't issue an Amber Alert because they determined she had run away. They have since changed their conclusion. "Magan was lured from her home via computer... she is not a runaway... she was lured away," wrote a family friend. Police and the family have been working on this case. They have learned that Angel was using the computer at the Elgin Illinois public library to do his communicating with the young girl, and have located his former workplace. Magan is considered an Endangered Child. When there is suspicion that a missing person may be a victim of dangers along the border, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Bureau of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services steps in. Should the missing person cross into Mexico, families of American citizens are directed to call the Border Patrol in the sector where they might have crossed. It is believed that Magan is probably in Springdale, in Northern Arkansas, but it is not difficult to to drive to Mexico. She would have a problem crossing the border without ID, but fake identification is nothing new. It's odd that one of Angel Flores' "aliases" is Angel Kharat (that's Magan's last name). Also, if he's using his brother's Resident Alien card as ID, a lookout should be posted with the US Bureau of Customs and Border Protection (BCBP) to flag the name and date of birth on that card, its bearer's possible true name and aliases, and the Alien Registration number on the card. This might help to locate Magan, if she's travelling with him, and he is indeed using that card for personal identification. If they've not already done so, the police on the case need to coordinate with federal agencies to obtain that data from the airline(s) used by Flores to fly into Little Rock.
