Former Clackamas Water District Bookkeeper Arrested for Theft

The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office criminal investigation of Carol Jean Labrado began in 2007.

(OREGON CITY, Ore. ) - A bookkeeper formerly employed by the Clackamas River Water District, surrendered herself to authorities earlier this morning at the Clackamas County Jail.

61-year-old Carol Jean Labrado a resident of Milwaukie, was previously employed by the Clackamas River Water District, and is believed responsible for the theft of $57,000 in funds from the District.

The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office criminal investigation began in 2007; which resulted in the arrest of Carol Labrado, when she made herself available to authorities earlier today.

Carol Labrado is being held in the Clackamas County Jail, and is charged with multiple counts of Aggravated Theft 1.
