You Can't Handle the Truth

We once, as a Nation, had respect. We had honor. Our leaders were respected. They earned it.

(LAS CRUCES, NM) - "... The less we Americans know about Benghazi the better off we are... what does it matter now.....?" Benghazi is now old news. Its main purpose and interest diverted, and now mostly forgotten. Most Americans cannot even name the names of the Benghazi fallen... Ask them. I have. Some of the replies in reference to Benghazi were embarrassing.

Oh Yes! What was the purpose of Benghazi, Fast and Furious and those other corrupt activities of our leaders that have now dropped from our radar screens?

Was it an international gun running operation, weapons taken from Libya/American stockpiles and past to Syria and other Middle Eastern countries. Was that operation going sour? Was that operation about to be exposed by honest persons working the Middle East?

Was that one of the many reasons for a diversion, a false flag, which had to be created to cover illegal acts done by our elected officials? If so, It didn't work. It still continues today.... nothing has changed....

We the USA are still riding point on distribution of those deadly weapons to militant factions in a host of foreign countries. All in the name of and for the sake of special interest profits. Follow the money and it will lead into more massive covert corruption.

We Americans still have a historical reputation, mostly good from the historical viewpoint, although tarnished from time to time by our political and corporate corruption, we still maintain a somewhat decent image of ourselves.

However, perhaps by todays standard as measured by some, it is a false image.., We Americans transmits arrogance and deception as viewed from others position as viewed from another countries viewpoint. We Americans have a solid reputation for double dealing.

We have been known to create the conflict in foreign countries for political gains. When its to our advantage, we escalate and manipulate that conflict. We sell weapons to both sides of the conflict, then broker Peace between the enemies we created. The ugly American is still Ugly..... But we, as a collective body of citizens, don't even know it. We're lost in our egotistical ways. However, we don't see it that way. We don't see that we lost anything. But other countries see it that way.

They now turn their heads in disgust when they see an American coming down their streets. They hide the eyes of their children... they cross to opposite sides of the street when we Americans suddenly approach. It was not always like that. We once, as a Nation, had respect. We had honor. Our leaders were respected. They earned it.

We Americans as a society have fallen so low, so corrupt, that there is little hope of survival, unless we change our ways and fast. We have been lied to and led into a false sense of security by the best. We as a Nation are in total denial. We are bankrupt, monetarily, morally, and spiritually,... and we don't even know it. ... some don't even care. We are blinded by our own creations, lust, and greed. We as a Nation under God have lost the way. We have failed our children, our country, and we have failed our God.

Good article. I feel the same way about our corrupt government. I don't think it is one party or the other. They both have to take responsibility for bringing this once great nation to where it is today.
