(Salem) - Salem-Keizer Public Schools will hold its annual Educator Fair this coming Saturday. Organizers say experts will be on hand who can share what Salem/Keizer schools have to offer.

The also use the event to reach out to former teachers from other areas and districts who are considering Salem/Keizer as their next teaching opportunity.

The Educator Fair will be held at Stephens Middle School, 4962 Hayesville Dr. NE in Salem, and will run from 10:00 AM to Noon.

The Educator Fair is open to first-time applicants who have, or are able to obtain, an Oregon teaching license by fall 2006, as well as to veteran teachers from outside the district.

Teacher candidates will have an opportunity to speak to district administrators, learn more about our hiring process, file an application, and gather information about the Salem-Keizer community.

Participants are encouraged to register in advance.

To obtain a registration form, call (503) 399-3061 or download a registration form from the District Web site at www.salemkeizer.org.
