(MILWAUKIE) - Milwaukie Police officers say they got more than they bargained for while responding to a report of a man who was reportedly harassing a neighbor in the area of SE 42nd and SE Mason Lane. Kevin Krebs with Milwaikie Police, says that as officers attempted to make contact with the subject inside his residence in the 4200 block of SE Mason Lane earlier today, "The subject made threats to injure officers and was uncooperative." "As officers attempted to take him into custody on a probation detainer, the subject discharged a can of OC pepper spray at the officers." Krebs says the subject was taken into custody after the use of a Taser by the officers. Six officers were affected by the pepper spray. 46-year old Jeffrey Wayne Radabaugh is the man police arrested. He was charged with six counts of Assault on a Pubic Safety Officer, one court of Harassment, once count of second degree Disorderly Conduct, one count of first degree Unlawful Use of Mace, and a probation violation. Radabaugh is being held without bail at the Clackamas County jail. Krebs says the officers affected by the pepper spray were Officer John Downey, Officer Dan Cloyes, Officer Luke Strait, Sgt. John Hipes, Captain Steve Bartol, and Chief Bob Jordan. All the officers and the suspect were treated at the scene for exposure to the pepper spray. LOL at JB. That's funny. My Dad had cops at his door way back in the day and he came out wielding an unloaded shotgun whistling the good, bad and ugly theme. He heard the officers start laughing.
