(WILSONVILLE, OR) - The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office released a new suspect sketch in the 2010 attempted murder case in which a Wilsonville man encountered an armed male subject inside his home who demanded food and money -- and then shot the victim in the back of the head.

On Aug. 3, 2010, victim Donald Barham arrived at his home west of Wilsonville around 12:30 p.m. and was confronted by an armed suspect in the living room. Although he complied with the suspect's demands, the suspect shot Mr. Barham, left him for dead on the floor, and stole his truck from the driveway.

The truck was later recovered outside the City of Molalla.

The victim has made a remarkable recovery. The shooting initially left Mr. Barham blind, though he has since regained partial eyesight.

The suspect in this case is a white male, 35 to 45 years old, estimated to be 5'10" to 6'1" in height with an average build.

A brand-new suspect sketch and the original 2010 PDF crime bulletin are attached to this release.
