(McMINNVILLE, Ore. ) - On April 19th, the body of an unidentified male was found along the banks of the Willamette River in Yamhill County.

The investigation is still ongoing into identifying who the subject is.

The body was examined by a Forensic Anthropologist from the State Medical Examiners Office and they gave the following general description. 20-30 years of age, Hispanic or possible mixture of Caucasian/Hispanic, and 5'3" to 5'8".

The body could have been in the water anywhere from 6 months to two years. A composite sketch was also created as part of the investigation.

Due to the state of decomposition, there were no visible identifying marks on the body. The victim also had a "bandage" around his lower right leg indicating a possible injury or a chronic condition like tendonitis.

The Yamhill County Sheriff's Office is requesting information that may lead to a positive identification of the subject.

If you have any information, please contact the Sheriff's Office Special Investigations Unit at 503-434-7508.
