Go and read the Qur’an again cover to cover and come up with the verse of the 72 virgins, and WHEN (not if) you fail, go away and plead for forgiveness if you can bring your arrogant souls to do so.

Not only that they have lied about their own prophets, not only that they have lied and still lie about their history, not only that they have lied and still lie about their crimes, they also dare to lie about God, their Creator.

It is a sick and despicable mind that feels that it has a right to attack, steal, murder and cause harm to others but if the others dare resist their oppression and fight back they are evil terrorists.

Zionists believe and behave as superiors and feel entitled and they have a right to do anything to other people and those people better not retaliate.

As a result they have done more by way of propaganda to take away the legitimate right of resistance of those who have been wronged, oppressed and demonized.

We now have this ongoing enormous propaganda campaign to make Palestinians and anyone belonging to the same religion as Palestinians, to be seen as mindless terrorists and suicide bombers with no cause other than to do evil. And, of course, vicariously receiving 72 virgins as a reward in paradise for committing suicide to kill a few Israelis.

But as they say, there is no smoke without fire; so where did the reward of 72 virgins in paradise for suicide come from? Are there any Islamic reference or teachings we can point to endorsing that?

When we look at the highest authority in Islam, the Quran, we find NOTHING in it endorsing rewards for suicide. Instead we find the strongest condemnation for those who commit suicide.

When we look at Hadiths (saying of Muhammed pbuh), which after the Quran is second in authority in Islam, we find NOTHING in the authentic Bukhari and Muslim Hadiths endorsing suicide. Instead we find strong condemnation for it.

“O ye who believe! Eat not up your property among yourselves in vanities: But let there be amongst you Traffic and trade by mutual good-will: Nor kill yourselves: for verily God hath been to you Most Merciful” (Qur’an 4:29)

Searching what Muslims refer to as “Gharib” Hadiths (weak, strange, odd, bizarre, or fabricated Hadiths, i.e not accepted by Muslims as authentic) we do find something about 72 wives but not virgins.

The Prophet Muhammad was heard saying: “The smallest reward for the people of Paradise is an abode where there are 80,000 servants and 72 wives, over which stands a dome decorated with pearls, aquamarine, and ruby, as wide as the distance from Al-Jabiyyah [a Damascus suburb] to Sana’a [Yemen]”

This is as a weak and bizarre Hadith that has no Sanad — line or sequence of narration. It has technical weaknesses in its chain of transmitters and is therefore not considered acceptable or authentic. Furthermore, there is nothing about it that says that if someone commits suicide they would get 72 virgins in paradise.

One must remember that the collection of Hadiths began at least 200 years after the death of the prophet; the Muslim scholars at the time were very vigorous and meticulous in their classification, acceptance or rejection of hadith depending on many factors which I am not going to into in this forum.

This whole idea of the 72 virgins is planted by Zionist propaganda; there is nothing in the Qur’an or in the accepted and authenticated Hadith that gives any credence or credibility to this propaganda.

Tim King: Natalie, I just think it is overblown and Americans tend to believe anything they are told, propaganda wise. The whole thing goes against everything I know about the faith. Hold your horses folks . I cant believe people have no idea where this myth came from ,and lying by ommission is unfair Nahida . I say this because I cant believe she doesnt know where this myth comes from . Look up assasin or hashshashin in the encyclopedia and we find that an ancient warlord used opium dreams to convince his fighters that they were being given a glimpse of thier heavenly reward for martyrdom for allah . A usefull tool and not unlike the christian version of heavenly reward [what a crock] . Let me get this straight ,a loving god whose first comandment is thou shalt not kill ,love others as you love yourself gives out rewards for killing people ? If there is a god [I dont think so ] I dont think he is going to be too happy with those that kill in his name . Then there is the fact that these young people are promised that thier families will be taken care of by thier leaders for thier sacrifice [if Im wrong let me know ] . As for revenge I have said it before if my family was killed I would never stop fighting in any way I could . There are far more suicide bombers in just Iraq than in Israel, and long befoe the invasion. Saddam was constantly having to enforce barbaric interventions, so your argument is feeble at best, and wrong no matter how you want to spin it. This is a barbaric cult, whose many different interpretations create intense hostilities within the followers (different tribes) of Islam, so what do the Jews or the Americans have to do with that? ZERO. They have been killing themselves for over one thousand years. Just take Nigeria, or any country that has a sizeable Islamic population and see how they ignore the laws in that host country and go by theirs. This is happening everyday in America and CAIR is doing their best to obfuscate this by distraction, which works for those who simply keep their heads in a clueless hole. Imam Zijad Delic of the Canadian Islamic Congress said there is “nothing Islamic” in taking a human life.
He calls it a personal issue more than a cultural one and suggested perpetrators are not unlike the white, Canadian born mother who suddenly kills her children in that both are ultimately unable to deal with the challenges of domestic life.
This imam’s statement is nothing short of infuriating and insults the memory of Aqsa and other women who have suffered a brutal death in the name of so-called honor. His ghastly comment is a deliberate attempt to veil the issue through deception. The naive among us will only see Delic’s single point that taking human life is not limited to a single culture. In the case of Aqsa however, we can not afford to ignore the conspicuous dimension that caused her to be murdered: the act was perpetuated by a cultural tradition rooted in the misogynistic tenets of the Qur’an.
These teachings advocate (among other things): women as property (tilth), spanking her to control her, and the horrendous practice of child marriage, which in many instances causes death to prepubescsent young victims who are biologically ill-equipped for the consummation of these marriages. Such cases have been frequently highlighted in places like Yemen and Afghanistan. One Unicef study found that “from 2000 to 2008, the brides in 43 percent of Afghan marriages were under 18.”

Editor: Well rabbis bite the end of a baby boy's penis off with their teeth as part of a ritual, and the entire notion of circumsicion is a ridiculous barbaric practice by any account. A recent U.S. court decision actually allows the rabbi's to continue to use their teeth when completing this barbaric mutation on their young. Where do you draw the line?
