(SALEM, Ore.) - A pair of men local police describe as fugitives out of the state of Wyoming, were arrested in Salem, Oregon Thursday night. The men cooperated with police who had K9's on scene, and were arrested without incident.
22-year old Timothy Pott-Schmidt was wanted for escape and interfering with a law enforcement officer.
The second individual, 29-year old Cory Horacek was also charged with escape and interfering with a law enforcement officer. The warrant for the two is out of Campbell County, Wyoming.
Pott-Schmidt and Horacek reportedly ran out of gas and ended up in the parking lot of an Arco station at Market and Lansing NE.
As the raw video below shows, the Salem Police, reportedly assisting another law enforcement agency in Wyoming, approached the men with what appeared to be a very serious level of caution.
We will have details on Salem-News.com once we find out who these two suspects are and what they are wanted for.
Again, as the video shows, police treat these men very seriously; we don't know at this point exactly what they are wanted for, but according to police radio traffic the two were subjects of extraditable warrants from Wyoming.
Thumbs up to Salem-News.com's Jerry Freeman for getting this arrest at the heat of the moment.

I guess burglary is a very serious crime in Wyoming to start a national search. Good for them. It's time to call U-Haul and move there. Meanwhile, who wants to bet these fugitives didn't even think about changing their Wyoming license plate? :)
