The Crap that Flows Out of Howard Stern's Mouth

Helen Thomas could probably kick his ass in a boxing ring.

Howard Stern
Howard Stern, not looking so good.

(LONDON / SALEM) - Howard Stern has long been a sore in America's side. People listen to him because he is shocking. Some talent that truly turns out to be. Is obnoxiousisity a word? If it is he has it. He is from a time when Beavis and Butthead defined America. Beavis, Butthead and Howard Stern.

If you have a strong stomach, take a second of your precious time and read  Howard Stern on Helen Thomas.

"Maybe you (Helen Thomas) should go home,..  Maybe you should go back to where you came from. Maybe you should go to Lebanon now that we don't need you anymore as a reporter. You big fat cow. I like that she thinks she's from America so she's where she is. She's where she's supposed to be. She should go back to Lebanon. I don't know why she's here. She's occupying America with her big, fat ass… Hopefully the planet will be rid of her soon. Maybe she'll stroke out or something. That would be nice." (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/scott-blakeman/lazy-reporters-politician_b_609457.html)

Stern was the hero of the angry disgruntled white man. His heyday was found on alternative stations in the late 1990's. Low points include his rating movies featuring black people by giving them so many "burning crosses" with a white racist guest. Funny, all references to those purely racist remarks have gone down the Google hole.

Stern remarked that Helen Thomas should go to Lebanon. According to Wikipedia, Helen Thomas was born in Winchester, Kentucky. Her parents were Lebanese immigrants from Tripoli. Her father's original surname of "Antonious" was anglicized to Thomas at Ellis Island. One of nine children, Thomas grew up in Detroit, Michigan. I think that is an All-American story if there ever was one.

And Stern compares this story to the struggle of Palestinians that began in 1947, when a culture decided something that belonged to someone else, suddenly belonged to them.

TV Journalist Diana Mukkaled is known for her very successful show "Bil Ayn Al Mojarada" (By The Naked Eye), a series of documentaries around controversial areas and topics which airs on Lebanon's leading local and satellite channel "Future Television". She's a veteran war correspondent, with time in Iraq, Afghanistan, and the Isreali "Grapes of Wrath" massacre in southern Lebanon.

She wrote:

"The difference here is that Thomas is part of a group of US opinion-makers whose views and
opinions create controversy and debate, with some of their views being met with widespread
appreciation and support, and others provoking extensive outrage and this is where the viewpoints
include the good and the bad.

"Prominent political commentators in the US media like Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Howard Stern,
Sean Hannity, and Bill O'Reilly, to mention just a few, have expressed a series of racist views and
opinions against blacks, immigrants, and homosexuals, not to mention Arabs and Muslims. They
express these views on the internet, television, radio, and in newspapers.

"Despite this, nobody has asked the above figures to retire, their television and radio shows have not been cancelled, and official statements are not issued denouncing their views."

It always seems to be about just being against the right 'type' of racism for cats like this, and Palestinian people are obviously on his 'hit list' for discrimination.

If you have ever wondered how is it that Jewish history is saturated with suffering. Howard Stern may be one answer amongst many.

He knows there is big money in prejudice of this nature; siding with those who have the money, who control the media. He goes after people for things like being overweight. Again, always Stern and the shock factor.

This classless clown who mostly disappeared from the scene with his satellite transition goes too far. He said he hopes Helen Thomas has a stroke. This guy would throw his own mother under the train for a few bucks and a spike in ratings.

And how about that daughter of his? You have to wonder, what becomes of the child of a person so focused on depravity?

Howard Stern's daughter Emily, made her dad really unhappy in 2006 by performing nude in “Kaballah,” staged by the Jewish Theater of New York, playing Madonna, the pop singer, who gained an interest in what else, but a mystic Jewish form of study.

Isn't that right in there with what you would expect? Emulate "The Material Girl" herself? Madonna is the epitome of American shallowness for an entire generation.

Stern reportedly worried that his enemies would distribute images of his 22-year old daughter's nude performance on the Internet. Isn't that a bit hypocritical for a guy who roots for distinguished journalists having strokes? Shouldn't he be proud of his daughter? She imitates Madonna on stage nude, that is about what should be expected for a top Internet entry under a search for Howard Stern's daughter.

But we mean nothing personal toward her. The apple just doesn't fall far from the tree, and the root of hypocrisy.

What kind of digicam was used? That is certainly a decent high quality.

Mike Augisfat June 22, 2010 6:24 am (Pacific time)

You sound very bitter. Stern is not for everyone but for most who claim to dislike Stern I am 99% sure they have never listened to him other then in out takes or sound bites. While he still is at times sophomoric and juvenile, despite the "shock jock" rep (just exactly is that?) he is sharp witted and quite often the only media person who calls a spade a spade. Unlike the majority of TV and Radio (does anyone even listen to terrestrial still?) where interviews are filled with self promotion and kiss ass questions, Stern actually interviews guest beyond the normal softball questions. I listened to his Helen take and I was not the least offended. Helen unfortunately threw her entire body of work out the window with her comments. Fair or not, it is the reality of her situation and she is the one who put the bulls eye on her respective chest, not Stern. And I like your self righteous tortured writers comment to another reader "Most of my friends are writers and too busy to devote time to anything like Howard Stern". Give me a break. Nothing you do is that important not to be able to listen to any type of programming whether it be Stern or any other commentator. Just another pompus comment from someone who obvioulsy has an axe to grind with the most successful radio personality ever (see how many people would pay to hear pumpkin head, Hitler Hannety or the ultimate shiller, Orielly).

Tommy June 21, 2010 4:58 am (Pacific time)

Lol As an avid Howard Stern fan, for you to just write-off his listeners as idiots . . . is well quite sad. If you simply listen to a two minute sound clip from the show, yes, you will be "shocked," but you have to regularly listen to truly appreciate Howard's psyche. Sometimes he can make brilliant salient points on society or politics and other times, like this, it's just an emotional reaction to what he perceives to be someone who would throw him into an oven if given the choice. Howard is obsessed with anti-Semitism and I doubt he is aware he is, but he, like many other Jews (and for good reason) were raised that way. For suggesting Howard is a closet Klan member because he invites Klan members on his show is absurd. He has also invited Black Israelites and GodHatesFags people for the same reason he invited the Klan on: they're interesting radio. I think on most matters, Howard and Helen would agree: they both appear to be socially liberal, but of course once you bring up Israel, all hell would break loose because they both have emotional attachments to said issue. Stern's fanbase also isn't only "angry white men" but from every race and yes, gender. My opinion? What he said was stupid and off the cuff and was in response to an equally stupid and off the cuff remark.

Osotan; June 19, 2010 8:08 pm (Pacific time)

dan carver.,what a spot-on comment! The editor qualifies for some medical psycosis trying to hide his jealousy and self hate. Wow, I've known him for over thirty years and Never suspected such self destructive behavior! From now on it's The National Enquirer for me! All this independent journalism is too much for me.,who needs truely investgative journalism anyway? Hell I may subscribe to cable t.v. just to pick up FUX news!.,Now They Do Not hate themselves and want their viewers to feel good too! No more depression for me. Tim.,are you listening? Get your prozac perscription updated from rush limbaugh and stop being so passionate about the news. It's possible you're emotionally unstable according to dan. Thank you.

daniel carver June 19, 2010 11:30 am (Pacific time)

It sure seems as Tim King has chosen a career and life path that has made him depressed and unable to Laugh. Being in the military is tough and can harden you. But to go back to war as a photographer shows he prefers death and mayhem to Laughter and enjoying life. Does anybody remember laughter? Hanging around Mr King is most likely less enjoyable than looking at his photos of death and mayhem that King will most likely tell you is important for some reason or another. I disagree with a Howard Stern on alot of things he would say. However this is a man who has entertained MILLIONS of Americans while King is jealous of Howard Stern and it sounds like hates his own life. You should be ashamed for being critical of an American Icon like Stern. Go back to hating yourself. Thank You

Osotan; June 18, 2010 7:55 pm (Pacific time)

now This is controversial dialogue! Welcome home two hearts, and I know the editors are good people trying to inform the othewise cotrolled media observers,(us), of the ongoing deception thru the world. A daunting task.Good on you S- N and no I am not on their payroll., but they could send me money if they want. Who am I to swim against the current?

Editor: Yeah Osotan, they'll come out in defense of anything these days!

lever June 18, 2010 2:04 pm (Pacific time)

...okay. That is actually perfectly understandable and I totally didn't expect it. I take back my personal attacks on you, too. I can relate to overreacting from time to time, we all have our regrettable moments.

Tim King: Lever, we are on track, thanks very much!

lever June 18, 2010 1:15 pm (Pacific time)

Hey Tim King: I don't listen to Howard Stern. And guess what? I'm also Jewish and against the Israeli government's treatment of Palestine. Yet you say I'm a Hitler Youth because I don't agree with you attacking a man's daughter after he makes a comment that made you fill your diaper. It's sad that you're so full of hate that you not only accused me of horrible things that could not have been drawn out of what I actually wrote, but that you wished horrible things to happen to me, too. It must be a cold, dark world that you live in, Tim, and I'm thankful that I don't occupy it myself.

If anything, you sound like more of a Howard Stern fan than anyone here, bringing up what he talks about on his show even when it's not relevant to the point at hand. You must be a Howard Stern listener, which says everything.

Helen Thomas is a bigot, plain and simple. She was before she made these recent comments, too. When people like you can't differentiate between legitimate criticism and hate speech, it makes all us conscientious objectors look like bigots frothing at the mouth, and hurts the message far more than the opposition ever could.

For what it's worth, I served two tours of duty in Iraq. I have two Purple Hearts to show for it, on top of my "keyboard bravery." But that won't impress you, I'm sure--you define courage as agreeing with everything you say, and not daring to post anything dissenting.

You stay classy, Tim, which to you means attacking the daughters of people who use their free speech to say something you don't like, as well as ad hominem attacks on anybody who disagrees with you in this comments section. Keep bragging about the tens of thousands of hits that you know only happened because you mentioned Howard Stern's name, and pretend that it doesn't make you a total sell-out.

Tim King: Lever, I deal with attacks all day long, sometimes here, sometimes via email.  Sounds like I was off track and if so, please accept my apology.  I do respect your opinion, ok?

Yet another username for you doucheb June 17, 2010 6:05 am (Pacific time)

What kind of "journalist" actually goes online and insults the 8 people who actually read his irrelevant article? Oh, and your gay /transgender jokes don't really add to your credibility when you claim to be offended by bigotry.

Editor: The kind who are taking control away from the sold-out types.  Sorry we aren't robotic enough for your needs, but this is new media and we are always here watching what comes in.  The funny thing, is that very very, few people actually take the time to comment on a story, and you actually assume that every person who reads the story leaves a comment?  Tens of thousands are hitting this article, you are just another joke wasting our time.

Osotan; June 16, 2010 7:27 pm (Pacific time)

I want to apologize to you howard, and to prove my remorse I;d like you to know we the people, speaking for myself anyway, are not a bunch of left wing hockey players, and we want you to run for president with rush limbaugh as vice! What do you say king of satire? You are either with us .,or against us. the puck's in your end of the rink howie, will you fulfill your destiny or munch another oreo? I'd like to be appointed secretary of defense or secretary of state is o.k. too.,maybe even ambassador to israel? Up to you prez.,up to you.

lever June 16, 2010 5:37 pm (Pacific time)

More people will read this article than anything else you ever write. Which, of course, is exactly why you wrote it.

Nice job defending an unapologetic bigot like Helen Thomas, though, while bashing Stern's daughter, who has nothing to do with this story. But that's how we should expect classy guys like you to act, right? Makes me wonder what your own offspring would be like...probably flagrant hypocrites, because the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree.

Tim King: Pissed you off didn't I?  That is funny, calling Helen Thomas a bigot is sad.  Wishing for her death is the act of a terrorist named howard stern.  But then why would you begin to understand what Thomas was saying?  You're a Howard Stern listener, which says everything.  There are those who are brainwashed and capable of learning, and those who would have been the first to sign up at the Hitler youth program.  You're in the second class.  Stern has nothing coming, it is all a big joke and morons like you pay his bills so he can keep going after people he should respect.  And you call me a hypocrite?  Stern is the one who rips things to the core, talks about events on the air like his wife's miscarriage, the classless son of a bitch.  And you are a stupid piece of dog dung, I hope you get stepped on and tracked into some other stern listerner's living room.  Keyboard bravery you son of a bitch, that is the one and only thing you have.

celery June 16, 2010 2:19 pm (Pacific time)

I can't believe it took two people to create this badly written, childish rant.

Mike June 16, 2010 2:14 pm (Pacific time)

Something Howard does on his show makes the TV shows Extra, Access Hollywood, The Insider or Ent. Tonight a few times per month. His Tiger Woods Mistress Contest was top news. Stuff that happens on his show is constantly picked up on the wire services. When he is on Letterman, the ratings go through the roof. I would say that is relevant. More relevant than you. No one knows who you are. Keep writing in obscurity. The people who criticize his show are not smart enough to understand satire.

Dim King June 16, 2010 1:42 pm (Pacific time)

This is Zack Morris / Bayside High Newspaper level journalism.

Editor: Well you're the little girl posting under different names, probably from that dud Stern's team of producers.  Be glad you can converse with us here, it wouldn't happen anywhere else.

Eric The Actor June 16, 2010 1:35 pm (Pacific time)

Dude, you are cornier than this article even suggests. If you can't see the humor in asking a klansmen to review Eddie Murphy movies then you might want to stick to Golden Girls reruns and Clay Aiken CDs for your pop culture fix.

Editor: If you are a little girl, why did you choose the name 'Eric' for this?  That isn't a transgender name as far as I know.  Hey, stick that burning cross on your chair before you sit down, will you?  And you're such a moron that you can't figure that we do not listen to redneck country music, this is a place of rock and roll and jazz.  Bigots aren't allowed, seizure later!

Marc June 16, 2010 1:10 pm (Pacific time)

Your point about the KKK movie reviews show you miss the point of the satire. He had the KKK guy on the show to ridicule him and his viewpoints. You are not intelligent enough to understand that. Also, he has more satellite listners than Leno or Letterman or any tv broadcast has viewers. I would say that is relevant. Just because you don't listen doesn't mean millions of people don't.

Bababooey June 16, 2010 12:12 pm (Pacific time)

First of all Howard has played the racist card on Helen Thomas comments. If you were a Jew wouldn't you do the same in an open format like his? The point of his was to basically destroy Helen for her remarks.

Eric The Actor June 16, 2010 11:23 am (Pacific time)

Ack Ack

Natalie June 16, 2010 11:12 am (Pacific time)

I'm surprised nobody mentioned yet that his dogs are racists, too. After all, dogs resemble their owners. And the apple can fall far from the tree if the tree is on the high hill.

Sean June 16, 2010 11:06 am (Pacific time)

You're comparing Howard Stern to Helen Thomas? Howard Stern is a satarist that does funny stuff, offensive to some thin-skinned folks, to make people laugh. We should expect a little more from Helen Thomas, but as we see, she's no better than Stern; and she's not even funny.

The editor of the Salem News should be fired for letting this piece get online.

Editor: Good one!

Nate June 16, 2010 10:43 am (Pacific time)

i would have thought that by now people would expect and be used to Howard saying offensive or stupid things, its not that big of a deal and imo its one article on this website that doesn't belong or is out of place with the rest of great informative news, if your not a fan of Howard and his comedy then you should probably just ignore the guy all together

Anonymous June 16, 2010 9:51 am (Pacific time)

Your article is hypocritical. Defending Helen Thomas's opinion by criticizing Howard Stern's.…. She said the Jews should go back to Germany and Poland. Howard said that she should go back to Lebanon. Most Jews in Israel were born there like Helen was born here. Your point is ridiculous….. Howard was simply pointing out how hypocritical and out of touch she is in a satirical way. It’s comedy! Douche! Her point is moot, it’s like saying you and I should go back where we came from so the Indians get there land back. Survival of the fittest, if the Palestinians want their land back then take it, but they can’t, tough shit move on. Just so you know Howard is also “part of a group of US opinion-makers whose views and opinions create controversy and debate”, more so than Helen Thomas ever has been. As for your dislike or distain for Stern, plain and simple, you are LAME! It’s beyond you and you don’t get it. 10+ million listeners is hardly falling off the radar. It’s on par with Limbaugh FREE radio show Bababooey to you!

Get your facts straight. Howard did not review movies starring black actors and give racist remarks. He sent these movies to a KKK member as a joke and they guy called in with reviews. He doesn't support racism, but is fascinated by people that are completely hung up on it. He also didn't care about his daughter doing that play, and what parent wouldn't be concerned about his daughter being exploited.
You need to get that poison out of your system.

Tim King: Now that has to rank among the best lame excuses I have ever heard in my life.  So your point is, "give Stern a break, he isn't racist, he just brings the Ku Klux Klan on his show as a regular guest."  I guess maybe you could be a quart low, who knows, but look at what you tried to lay down as an explanation or excuse.   With arguments like this defending Stern, I think I can rest my case.

Osotan; June 16, 2010 8:27 am (Pacific time)

and it may be Nick was being humorously sarcastic.,I'd give him the benefit of the doubt unless he later proves to be a true zionist as described in the gospel of/ according to., Mark, chapter 5, verses 12 and 13., then I would not give him the benefit of the doubt. I also heard howard stern was an A.M.(as in Amplitude Modulation rather than Frequency Modulation), southern conservatively baptist radio preacher w/ zionist leanings.,shrewdly transmitting from his own garage on the outskirts of Skokie,Illinois., before finding his true calling. Talk about transformation!

Ricky Romero June 16, 2010 2:17 am (Pacific time)

Wow its very hip to hate Israel and trash anybody that would dare defend them. Do you know how many times theyve been attacked over the last 30 years? Hamas is no friend to the US in any event, damn people are ignorant. STOP SWALLOWING EVERYTHING YOU HEAR ON LEFT WING MEDIA YOU TOADS

Tim King: Again, never is Israel defended without lobbing personal insults.  Sixty years of every network and newspaper in America sticking up for Israel's evil patterns, two or three years of Internet news telling the truth, and you make that truth sound like a scourge.  Well maybe to you it is.  Hamas is an elected party with the balls to fight Israel.

What do you expect from a knee jerk reactionary kike like Howie?

Sal June 15, 2010 8:15 pm (Pacific time)

I think it's too much to expect Howard Stern to form an intelligent thought. He's not very bright and appeals to the lowest common denominator and is married to a woman who is practically retarded. He made a name for himself talking about farts. Who cares what comes out of this idiot's mouth.

Vic, ann finally got "the operation" in Rio last week and she is now a "she", at least physiologically. howard is thinking of a vacation down south next month, possibly for the same reason though I wish not to slander his image,if that's possible.I'll keep you posted.

Jack Mehoff June 15, 2010 5:58 pm (Pacific time)

This story reeks of jealousy. Howard is the greatest entertainer in the history of broadcasting. You could learn a thing or two listening to his show. Also its a comedy show so lighten up.

JOHN GILLBUNNY June 15, 2010 3:43 pm (Pacific time)

HOW BOUT YOU LISTEN TO THE SHOW FOR A WEEK BEFORE YOU RIP HOWARD STERN YOU OBVIOUSLY DON'T GET THE SHOW'S SATIRE HOWARD'S SHOW IS ALOT DEEPER THAN T and A AND MIDGETS AND RETARDS LISTEN FOR A WEEK AND YOU'LL BELISTENING FOR 20 YRS LIKE MOST PEOPLE HAVE

J June 15, 2010 3:23 pm (Pacific time)

Howard Stern is a comedy show. First, last and always. He has a free form emotional reaction to political events like we all do, and it is easy to spot versus his normal interview based fromat. I often don't agree with Howard on his emotional and political reactions. I consider this to equate to my dismay at the reaction of the average Amercian to political trends and events. It doesn't effect my enjoyment of his program. Howard is an amazing entertainer, with a very quick wit. However, he is a deeply fearful person. Just like the average American at large. Why? Because Karl Rove and his cronies spent the 8 of the last 10 years cultivating that fear. Consequently, Howard most of the time provides me a pleasant respite from the craziness of the American media machine. If you can't appreciate that side of the show, there is one remedy that always works, change the channel!

Nick June 15, 2010 3:15 pm (Pacific time)

The writers are anti semitic

Tim King: Hey Gilad, what do you think of this cat?  Nick, you do realize that Gilad is Jewish and former IDF right?  I can tell you that criticism of Israel is not anti-Semitism.  I would give my life for a Jewish friend, as I would for a Christian or Muslim friend.  The religion has nothing to do with it.  I don't care what religion you or anyone else is.  In fact I am interested in different aspects of the Jewish faith and maybe someday when the Zionists are under control and the good people of Israel are in control, if that is ever possible, we could all enjoy it as the holy place it is.  This is a matter of apartheid politics and genocide.  Israel has been committing this act for over 60 years against the indigenous Palestinian people.  Yes, there were always Jewish people in Palestine, before Zionism everyone got along.  Land thieves just aren't popular, what can I say?

brett June 15, 2010 2:23 pm (Pacific time)

Tim-
Let's play a game. Take any famous person and answer the following:
If they were to start their own tv/radio/internet channel, how much would you pay for them?
Then ask how many people would pay for that person.
Howard Stern has brought about 8 million people to satellite radio.
Jay Leno, Conan, Letterman, would not come close to that number.
Oprah, maybe would exceed him.
His following is enormous.
He is the only person who makes me want to listen to talk radio. I paid a lifetime subscription. Why not report facts instead of your opinion?

Tim King: Brett, I have been in news for over 20 years.  I constantly write and report news and it is also my job to write opinion pieces.  Since I am media I tend to keep an eye on other media antics.  I have criticized fellow war photographers and their approaches in covering combat operations.  I know Stern was popular, but I only know one or two people who even have satellite radio.  Most of my friends are writers and too busy to devote time to anything like Howard Stern.  Beyond that as a lifelong broadcaster, I support broadcast first, after Internet news.  I hope that helps explain my point.

Vic June 15, 2010 1:54 pm (Pacific time)

Stern is like Ann Coulter, but with a smaller penis...

Rob June 15, 2010 1:08 pm (Pacific time)

Get your facts straight moron. Howard was fine with his daughter appearing nude in a legitimate play. Many well known actresses have done the same. But the promoters promised not to use Howard Stern's name to publicize the play. When ticket sales were lower than expected the sleazy promoters started using Howards name instead of just his daughters name as a cast member. Since they violated their agreement Howard's daughter left the show.

I can be nastier on any day but try not to, but you voided yourself out immediately.  Who cares about Howard's daughter?  It is a simple sidenote in this story about her dad's racism and lack of respect for an esteemed journalist.

standish June 15, 2010 1:01 pm (Pacific time)

Diane, you missed the point and illustrated it with your "Native American" remark . . . Helen Thomas is the origin of the "they should go back home" line. Stern retorting that SHE should go "home" was intended to illustrate how insipid HER comment was. Obviously he wasn't saying that she should be deported, even though that's EXACTLY the idea she seemed quite serious about.

Tim King: Right, and you further underscore the point of what a sick and ridiculous point it was to make in the first place.  Stern compared Helen's remark about an illegal occupying military in place right now in Israel, and compared that to the daughter of an immigrant from Lebanon needing to go home.  Just consider the source, it is Howard Stern and nothing close to anything to take seriously.

What does Helen Thomas being born in America have to do with anything?? The ignorant reporter wants to send Israeli Jews to some other country besides Israel so if it's good for the Jews, it's good for Helen Thomas... send that ignorant fool to Lebanon, and good riddance to her.

Esther Haman June 15, 2010 9:53 am (Pacific time)

What is done to Helen Thomas goes to show you how our first amendment and freedom of speech is being endangered by the Zionists owned Media and News organizations. How the infiltration of the Zionists into our government is the most imminent danger to this country and our values. The Zionists can block and defame anyone, demonize others and protect themselves from any damages or backlash from their atrocities. For example The "Goldstone" report by the UN is forgotten, the latest killing of unarmed and innocent people on the seas and other places are not followed up and no journalist dare to criticizes the Israelis or the Zionists. Other peoples such as ourselves who blog and comment on daily news are being censored and taken out. The power to shape American public opinion is a power that is now controlled by the Zionists and they can shut down our freedom of expression and speech when they want to. Wake up and see who is stealing your country from underneath you.

racism, sexism, hatred, and all bigotry are only crimes in the US if they serve someone's purpose. We still do not have an equal rights ammendment. It doesn't serve the purpose of the powerful to implement it.

HOWARD June 15, 2010 6:29 am (Pacific time)

SO NICE TO SEE HOW YOU START WITH HOWARD HAS FALLEN OFF THE RADAR - THEN WHY ARE YOU WRITING ABOUT HIS ACTIONS - BECAUSE YOU WISH YOU WERE HIM - THE KING OF ALL MEDIA - NUMBER 1 MULTI BOOK SELLING AUTHOR - NUMBER 1 MONEY CONTRIBUTOR TO ANIMAL SHELTERS - NUMBER 1 ACTOR - NUMBER 1 MOVIE MAKER - AND HERE YOU ARE WRITING A LITTLE COLUMN IN OREGON - TRY A LITTLE HARDER AND YOU MAY GET RECOGNIZED BEFORE ITS TOO LATE AND YOU ARE WRITING ORDERS FOR YOUR LOCAL DELI

Tim King: Well it sure got your attention, if any of your points were true why would you bother writing?  Sure he is a national figure, no doubt, but he used to be on the car radio and he used to be discussed far more often.  That is what I meant by going off the radar, it wasn't a stretch.

Ollie June 15, 2010 6:11 am (Pacific time)

THIS STORY IS SO FAR FROM THE TRUTH IT IS CRAZY - first off Howard Stern is an ENTERTAINER, not a journalist, so he is allowerd to have humorous commentary, obviously the writer of this has never heard his show, because they are way off base on the truth of his show and actions, Howard Stern is not racist, he does not rant against all of one race, just the bad ones that make the news, HOWARD STERN will always be remembered in the media world for being an innovator, his actions still dictate media in this country, when he first brought lesbians out everyone was apalled, now there is not one show that does not have lesbian actions or tendencies, whether you like it or not, HOWARD STERN has shaped the way we understand media today, if not for HOWARD STERN, there would be NO OTHER TALK RADIO shows like there are today --- PLEASE LISTEN TO THE SHOW FOR ONE WEEK AND WRITE ANOTHER COLUMN WITH THE TRUTH

Diana June 15, 2010 2:36 am (Pacific time)
