(BAKER CITY) - A Boise, Idaho man wanted out of Marion County was arrested near Baker City Sunday afternoon after an Oregon State Police trooper stopped him for driving over 120 mph on Interstate 84. OSP Senior Trooper Jeff Spencer says he stopped the 2002 Honda Accord two-door at 5:45 PM Sunday for traveling 121 mph westbound on Interstate 84 near milepost 304. While in contact with the driver, identified as 22-year old Jose Manuel Prater of Boise, Idaho, Spencer determined he was wanted out of Marion County on a felony warrant for 2 counts of Delivery of a Controlled Substance and Possession of a Controlled Substance. Prater was taken into custody and lodged in Baker County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bail. He was also cited for Exceeding the Speed Limit and for having no drivers license, as he was suspended in Idaho. Here we go again with an easy arrest which will cause tax payers alot of money. I do not approve of the speeding, that could kill an innocent person like me.
