Regis High School Names New Principal

The 2013-2014 school year marked the 50th Anniversary of Regis High School.

(STAYTON, Ore. ) - The Regis High School board of directors has announced the hiring of a new school principal Scott Coulter, who will begin part-time in July; full-time by August 11.

Prior to this position, Coulter worked at Bishop Kelly High School in Boise, Idaho as the Assistant Principal and Activities Director.

As a candidate for this administrative position, Coulter brought a special advantage to the table: he worked at Regis from 1978 to 1982 as a mathematics teacher and coach. Coulter coached football, basketball and baseball during some or all of those years.

“Regis was my first exposure to Catholic education and it forever changed my professional career and life,” Coulter said. “Regis helped form me into the person I am today. I hope to assist the young people of Regis to grow in their faith as they journey through high school preparing for academic success at the next level.”

Regis High School is located in Stayton. The 2013-2014 school year marked the 50th Anniversary of Regis High School.
