Jun-10-2011 03:29TweetFollow @OregonNews Peaceful Protest Against Kagame in ChicagoDr. Theogene Rudasingwa for Salem-News.comRwandan, Africans and Americans to protest presence of Pres. Kagame of Rwanda; a war criminal & corrupt dictator
(CHICAGO) - Rwandans will be joined by hundreds of other Africans and American citizens to protest the presence of President Kagame of Rwanda, war criminal and corrupt dictator, in Chicago on June 11, 2011. President Kagame is responsible for millions of deaths of Rwandans and Congolese citizens, in what the United Nations Human Rights Commission, in its report of 1 October, 2010, described as war crimes, crimes against humanity and even possible acts of genocide. Human Rights Watch published a report on May 31, 2011, that says in Rwanda justice has been compromised, and that flaws in trials have lead to miscarriages of justice. Amnesty International, in its June 3, 2011, report, says "freedom of expression in Rwanda has been unduly restricted for many years. The months leading up to the August 2010 presidential elections were marked by a clampdown on freedom of expression, which still shows no sign of abating" President Kagame is in crisis, as he drives the country that has suffered genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity further into the direction of civil war and more bloodshed. Currently he has jailed political opposition leaders, closed political space, banned independent media, and pursues Rwandans abroad to assassinate them. London Police in the United Kingdom on May 12, 2011, warned Rwandans that "reliable intelligence states that the Rwandan government poses an imminent threat to your life" . The same threat has now been exported to Chicago in the United States, Canada, Europe, Africa and wherever Rwandans reside. The United States and United Kingdom governments have been, and remain, leading supporters of the current Rwanda Government, but are beginning to have second thoughts. Rwandans, Congolese , Burundians, other Africans and their American friends will be protesting in Chicago on June 11, 2011, 10 am-6 pm, to call for an immediate end to President Kagame's war crimes and impunity, and asking the international community to bring him to account for the crimes he has committed. The protesters will also be asking the international community, especially the United States and the United Kingdom, to support Rwandans searching for the permanent resolution to the current Rwandan refugee crisis; an end to chronic violent conflict and prevention of more bloodshed in Rwanda and the Great Lakes region of east and central Africa; support for human rights protection, dialogue, freedom, equal justice, democracy, and equitable prosperity; and, reconciliation and healing among many millions of Rwandans and their neighbors who have been subjected to untold suffering for so long. _____________________________________

Rudasigwa rwose what happened. Are you crazy or not? "ACTIONS SPEAK ROUDER THAN WORDS" we Rwandans know what fits us, and this man you are poiting to with one of your fingers, know that you are poiting to God's eye and will be a "BOMERANG TO YOU" soon if you don't repeant. Nakugira Imana to stop your nonsence and arogancy words. We know what we want as Rwandans

Thank you for alerting the world of the presence of mass murder, deranged dictator and blood-thirsty modern-day slave-runner Kagame in Chicago. The man is responsible for the death of over 3 MILLION congolese men, women and children and of many more death in Uganda and Rwanda. He needs to face justice sooner rather than later otherwise his actions might lead to an even bigger conflict in the Great Lakes region of Africa. He is a sadist, a traitor to Africa and to his own country Rwanda.

What's making you so desperate, Rudasi? In your heart of hearts, don't you know that you have for ever cast your lot in the shadow?
A little bit of moderation on your greed and you'd have had a chance at being anything from minister to president.
Now you are in total oblivion for the rest of your life.
That'd make anybody eat out their heart
Editor: I don't know, it seems to me that the opposite is true, and that this man you accuse of being in the shadows is a light in the dark, quite different. Humanity is a complete package, you can't pick and choose who you serve.

Rudasingwa is a looser man and he should not convice anyone on anything on Rwanda. Let him him come back to Rwanda and face justice.
Editor: In this report from 20 May 2020, Salem-News.com writer Alysha Atma cites,
The civil war and strife in Rwanda led to the 1994 genocide that saw close to one million people dead in 100 days. The internal conflict within Rwanda has been an ongoing prejudicial battle for many decades. The Hutu majority had compiled lists with names and addresses of all Tutsi’s and stockpiled machetes in effort to eliminate all of the Tutsis from Rwanda. Purportedly Kagame’s RPF shot down the presidents’ plane thus igniting the entire region.
As with Sudan the neighboring countries saw an influx of refugees, Uganda played host to many in the early sixties, seventies and eighties and DRC won over two million during and post genocide.Kagame took over the Government in 1994 and sent the RPF/A into DRC after those he felt perpetrated the genocide; the genocidaires that had escaped the country with the two million refugees. While inside DRC the RPF/A has been responsible for numerous deaths and destruction. Taking advantage of the relationship built with DRC, Kagame’s army plundered and forced their way into the Kivu provinces. Coltan was mined and exported specifically to the US military, a vitally important mineral for use in defense weaponry.

Rudasingwa is just good at causing chaos through his writings. i hope the world tracks his records and should well know what personality he is. Long live Kagame, you do not know how much Rwandans love you. Do not be distructed by wordy guys like Rudasingwa. Keza
Editor: Actually it will be good for Kagame to pay attention to the fact that people are aware of his role in history. It is sickening that he is allowed to walk on US soil, like when Netanyahu and other supposed 'friends of the US' are allowed to cavort here.

Join us to tell him again that enough is enough, we need peace and security in our country and surrounding region no more killings to our people.

Rudasingwa wogatsindwawe!!you claim to be speaking for Rwandeas(as who in the 1st place)but your recent acts especially calling for different people to disrupt Rwanda day in Chicago, only portrays you and your Gang as most dangerous and deceitful people that Rwandese should fight at any cost. This day is for the good of Rwanda and whoever wishes to spoil it is Rwanda's enemy. Then Stop hiding behind your lies!!

It is in human nature, you will find very few people who accept that they are bad people. Instead, people like to criticise others. I read some many articles telling how Rudasingwa left after stealing public funds, committing other crimes and was convicted by the court for that. I have never seen where Rudasingwa cleared his name. Where does the moral authority of Rudasingwa to criticise Kagame come from? When you point a finger to Kagame, there are four remaining fingers pointed to yourself. There is a proverb that says that " actions speak more than words", if you want to measure yourself to Kagame, come at Chicago on Rwanda Day ( but without rotten eggs), compare people who will come to welcome him, and remember to bring a culculator. All I knew, you have never got a meeting of 50 people. This is the way I understand democracy - people coming to express their feelings towards one of the best leaders in the world - Kagame.

Editor: From a 10 April article by Salem-News.com writer Ralph Stone:
What actually happened in Rwanda? Kagame was trained at the U.S. Army Command and Staff College in Leavenworth, Kansas. Major-General Kagame returned from Leavenworth to lead the Rwandan Patriotic Front (RPF) shortly after the October 1990 invasion of Rwanda by Ugandan forces. This has been misrepresented as a "civil war" or "war of liberation" by a Tutsi-led guerilla army.
The so-called civil war was in reality a brutal struggle for political power between the Hutu-led coalition government of Habyarimana supported by France and the RPF-backed Tutsi forces backed financially and militarily by the United States. The Hutu-Tutsi rivalry was used deliberately in the pursuit of U.S. strategic and geopolitical objectives by establishing a U.S. sphere of influence in Central Africa, a region historically dominated by France and Belgium.
What was at stake? The region's vast geostrategic mineral wealth, i.e., cobalt, oil, natural gas, copper, uranium, tin, coltan, cassiterite, gold, and diamonds.Learn more: Kagame's Rwanda: Myth and Reality By Ralph E. Stone Salem-News.com

President Kagame,is one of the best leaders that the continent ever had.Rwandans are proud of him and indeed Africa. Please Rudasingwa, you know it very well that you are telling lies to the world.Believe me Rudasingwa that the world you seem to be confusing, knows you better than you know yourself.
Editor: I suppose the people murdered in the Genocide may strongly disagree.
