(KEIZER, Ore. ) - Oregon State Police are asking for the public's help in locating a man missing from Keizer. 53-year-old Robert Allen Knupp was last seen Saturday evening and his vehicle found unoccupied at the Santiam Rest Area along Interstate 5 south of Salem. There is no evidence at this time to indicate he was the victim of a crime. Knupp is described as a white male, 5'11", 215 pounds, with brown salt & pepper hair and a short beard. He was last known to be wearing a blue print Hawaiian-style shirt with khaki pants, white socks and brown leather tie shoes. He was driving a 1993 Geo Metro passenger car found locked Sunday about midnight at the rest area. Earlier Saturday afternoon, he drove his brother to an Albany-area restaurant where he dropped his brother off. His family told police his behavior is out of character and that he recently began taking newly prescribed medications. Anyone with information regarding Knupp's whereabouts is urged to call OSP Northern Command Center dispatch at 800-452-7888. _________________________________________
