‘AmericanVet’s’ comment of June 13, 2011 3:37 pm suggests that a young American (standing on the streets of Israel) publicly speaking his opinions regarding the over six-decades long Israeli-American umbilical-cord (whereby Israel feeds off American tax-payers) must ‘hate America’, ‘hate America’s military’, and ‘hate everything living American’s have fought for’? May I suggest that ‘American vet’ either pack his bags and join the Israeli military, or go back to kindergarten?............Based on his comment, ‘American vet’s’ allegiance to my country, the United States of America, is highly suspect (military vet or not!). Years ago, I read and heard similarly-styled statements against young American’s speaking out against the Vietnam War. The American war-monger pretext then was that ‘we’ had to fight “communists”. Today the American war-monger pretext for killing and marching around the world is fighting “fundamentalist Muslims”.........I guarantee, in another half-century another war-monger pretext will be popularized, as all haters of humanity, some quite self-deluded, feed off each other. There are always people (anywhere) like ‘American vet’ who will color the world in their mind with those big, thick color-crayons (flat on one side) we all colored with in kindergarten........Then there are those who grow-up and color the world from bigger boxes of crayons (which hold 132 colors and come with a built in sharpener). I prefer being informed by persons and media which color their ideological arguments with sharpened color crayons from the bigger box of crayons. I out-grew kindergarten more than half a century ago.

Kind of interesting that Tim mentioned "obama, biden and clinton"..all well, but what about the bush's, the nixons?
Nixon went off the gold standard which gave the banks money to create this travesty.. Yes, Clinton is another culprit by repealing the glass steagle act...But bush, used that repeal to start wars and build a police state on OUR tax dollars! JFK talked about this, then killed, Eisenhower talked about the banker owned military industrial complex, but most presidents, for decades, probably get the indoctrination..the elite probably show how JFK had his head blown off in daylight with cameras rolling.. Until people understand the power of the rothchild banking cartel, the queen of england, the rockefellers, you are spinning your wheels..

It happened at the G20 in Canada, it is happening at the bilderberg group meeting in Switzerland, and it is happening in the U.S. As much as I disagree with israel, its time to move on, do some research and find out who owns israel. Rothchild banking cartel, queen of england, etc. Israel is their intelligence hub, and an opening to take over the middle east, the U.S. is the military..All planned. Wake up..

A very disturbing video despite its being so typical of the brutality prevalent in Israel and Palestine. Lucas is an exceptional human, IMHO, and warrants our deepest respect and regard. Colleges were a hot bed of activism in my day and he, I hope, represents the return to such compassion. So striking, in the video, is the posture taken by one officer as he attempts to shield the activity from the cameras. It is difficult to consider these wild dogs as "officers", "police" or any other title other than thugs. Lucas' school is only a short distance from me and I hoe to visit with him soon. I have requested that he contact Salem-news asap. I am also doing all I can to spread this video and story and hope others will join in the effort.

"Suddenly, the police moved in without warning of any kind. Officers on horseback came so close to the sidewalk, nearly hitting some of the demonstrators. I stepped down from the pylon. In that instant, my impulse to flee was counteracted by the firm realization that, standing on a sidewalk waving a peace sign, I had every right to be there, and if I fled, who would stand with the Palestinians? I stepped back up on the pylon. Moments later, an Israeli police officer ran up, seized me, and dragged me to the other side of the street. He then punched me in the face, put me in a choke hold, and with four other officers, slammed me to the ground. I was eventually handcuffed and carried to the car; I allowed my body to go limp and refused to walk on my own in a gesture of nonviolent defiance. Throughout the whole affair, the only thing audible coming from the policemen was a constant stream of curses words, “motherf*cker”, “piece of shit”, etc., which was to me a ringing confirmation of how infuriated and threatened they were by a 19-year old wearing a kippah and a keffiyeh standing with the Palestinians.

brutal,ugly response to the nonviolent desire of a unarmed activist...This is a great example of a kid,a hero who is fighting for a cause that is unpopular especially since he is Jewish...This shoud be aired out and this kid deserves a thank you from the Palestinian people...At least this kid is doing something about the occupation....
