(SALEM, Ore. / AUCKLAND, N.Z.) - One of our goals at Salem-News.com is to fill the informational void created by corporate media's refusal to indict its sponsors. (Click this link to listen to the show:) If the networks, local TV affiliates and daily newspapers paid attention to what was really going on around them, they would be in for quite a shock. Americans are increasingly buying food that falls into the 'mad scientist' category; created in laboratories by essentially fooling nature. People in the U.S. who oppose things like stem cell research should be up in arms. Join April at 11:20 p.m. west coast time, to hear her special interview from 11:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. on The Global Freedom Report With Hosts Brent Johnson & Vincent Eastwood. Anyone who opposes breaking the natural order of things should pay close attention; there is a rumor that the planet's creator had a plan, and the greedy Monsanto shareholders are playing with the devil. The U.S. capitalist system has allowed the decimation of previous safeguards that society once provided. In the land of Uncle Sam, everything is for sale, including consumer safety. April is dialed in on many of these levels, and the list of problems that exist in our daily lives is surprising. Rather than protect human beings, children... American presidents and politicians advance the successes of companies like Monsanto, which created Agent Orange, used to kill the jungles of Vietnam poisoned U.S. servicemen and Vietnamese. The deeds are unforgiven by hundreds of thousands of Vietnam Veterans. Now Monsanto is the big operator behind 'Roundup ready' seeds which are being forced onto the American farmer. Not only do they fool Mother Nature to create the seeds, they patented the designs. April's past articles have revealed how if Monsanto seeds blow onto an organic farmer's field, and they are found to contain the Monsanto 'thumbprint', the farmer is liable for a patent violation. Welcome to the United States, a great idea that has run its course to only, ultimately... become a land of rampant greed and shareholder interests. It is the case whether people accept it, resort to denial, whatever; the facts remain and the real costs that would be required to even start to address serious issues in the U.S. regarding water and food quality, are dwarfed by things like the Gulf oil spill; again strictly the result of western greed, and of course Democrats caving in to the interests of the oil companies.
