(SALEM) - Students and staff arriving at Sprague High School today are dealing with tension and fear after a note was found last month that threatened harm to the school on Tuesday. Salem-News.com's Kevin Hays reports that staff last week found another threatening note.

Sprague officials say a hit list with students and staff member's names was found in a classroom last week.

Officials said they are not sure if the list is connected to the note that threatened harm to the school on 6.6.06. Anyone entering the school Monday or Tuesday will have to enter through the school's front doors, and back-packs, duffle bags and coast will not be allowed into classrooms.

Sophomore Christina Petersen says she is concerned by the notes, while her brother, Freshman Rian Petersen, says he isn't worried.

Extra police and parent volunteers will be on-hand to make sure the students feel safe.

Parents can excuse their child fro classes Thursday, and they will be allowed to made up those days without punishment.

Kevin Hays reports for Salem-News.com and Newsradio 1190 KEX.
