(JEFFERSON, Ore. ) - The Jefferson Volunteer Fire Association along with Marion County Dog Services will be hosting a Pet Amnesty Day on Saturday, June 7 at the Jefferson Fire Station. You can get your dogs vaccinated and licensed, and late fees will be waived. There will be information, food and games; sponsored by Petco, Oregon Mobile Veterinary Services, Safehaven Humane Society, J and J Groomers, Friends of Jefferson Library and the Jefferson Volunteer Firefighter Association. Santiam Equine Clinic will to give low cost vaccinations to your dogs for rabies and other preventable illnesses. The first 250 people will receive a free rabies vaccination, after that the cost will be $10 dollars, with the purchase of a secondary vaccine. The Jefferson Fire Station is located at 189 N.
