Republican Anarchy and Theocracy

(PASO ROBLES, CA) - Mitt Romney who, in spite of his Mormonism, (he is a Bishop) has proven to be better able to tell others how to behave as Mormons ought, than to live up to the tenets of his faith himself, which he justifies by saying it is not because of him that he deviates, but rather because in politics, it is the way things are done.

It certainly is true of the Republican Party which has been taken over by Evangelists who interpret the Bible, our Declaration of Independence, and the Constitution as having been Ordained by a God of their definition; but that logically is not correct. The truth is, the GOP when in power, has been filling positions of lasting authority - local, state and federal - including the courts and the Office of the Attorney General (who can forget?) with persons of its own ilk who will do as they are told and will contribute to the power of the Holy See. Practically all persons seeking a Republican office, become devotees of the GOP’s curia - the administrative body by which the President elect governs, or vice versa, the Holy See to which, if elected, all will be beholden.

The degree to which the Holy See controls the Party is evident in the way its members vote as a [block] with the object of preventing Barack Obama from being re-elected. Judged by their action, The Holy See and obedient Party members appear as anarchists, willing to destroy our system of government if in the doing they can rebuild it in their own misguided image. They believe they can win the Presidency and a majority in both Houses this year, and are going all out to achieve the goal of moving America toward a Theocracy of their making.

But the Holy See wants to disavow the meaning of our Independence and the truths of America’s Constitution in favor of its own interpretations, especially when construed in favor of the Theocracy it wants to become, at our expense.

The confusion caused by the rhetoric of Mitt Romney who talks a good show based on what he did when at Bain, becomes vastly more understandable when compared to what Meg Whitman has done since she recently arrived on the HP scene; namely, over a period of several years she plans to lay off 27000 employees that will save HP $3.4 billion a year; a scenario not unlike what happed under Romney at Bain who brags about his accomplishments but not the mega millions he took at the expense of his employees. Is this the way to run a country?

As a bishop in the Church of LDS to which he tithes millions of dollars each year, isn’t it reasonable to suggest he has a conflict of interest where the Evangelical Holy See is concerned? Romney was hardly the first choice of Evangelists for the nomination, and now with it in the bag, what’s next? He goes to the convention as Nominee, but can he keep it?

All things considered, the safest bet it seems to me. would be to re-elect Barack Obama for a second term because he is a known quantity who truly deserves the chance to finish what he has begun. Obviously, he comes to the Office unencumbered, compared to Romney. And I like the fact he is committed to peace more than to conflict. With the experience of his first term under his belt, I doubt he will ever wonder what Geo W. would do?; (ref. to Bush’s comment where his portrait was hung in the W.H.today.)

Our President has come into his own after one term and is better able to make right decisions consistent with national and world opinion than the opposition. Barack Obama is my choice for a second term: won’t you join me for the good of our country?
