Blindness Sweeps Large Parts of Sri Lanka

Doctors have no answers, experts say there are no logical explanations.

(SALEM) - A peculiar type of blindness has swept throughout much of the Sinhalese Buddhist culture in Sri Lanka, leaving vast swaths of this population completely in the dark about their own blackest, nightmarish deeds.

FeTNA Website

Justification is something we are all capable of, but it differs significantly from a rationalization. One can justify only with fairness, yet people can rationalize, as we see in this island nation, absolutely anything if they see a personal benefit in it.

Sri Lanka has tried for generations to cripple their minority Tamil population by marginalizing them politically and then by attacking them militarily. For some odd reason, this sight-impaired society has been unable to rationalize to the world, their attempt to extinguish the Sri Lankan Tamil culture altogether in 2009.

Sadly, their visionary disability did not prevent Sri Lanka's army from sighting their artillery guns and laying waste to tens of thousands of innocent human lives in 2009 while world media looked in the other direction, showing signs of possibly being affected by the same disabilities noted in Sri Lanka's Buddhist majority.

Indeed, the Tamils learned what it feels like to be Rwandan, Cambodian, Palestinian, Chinese, Jewish... Why can't blindness only apply as 'culture blindness' and 'color blindness'?

Perhaps they totally misinterpreted the notion of 'transparency'?

I hope people reading this tongue-in-cheek scribble will look below to a long list of serious articles about the Sri Lankan Tamil Genocide and the associated war crimes against humanity that define human tragedy in the fullest, unrelenting way. We've done the work to make the information available to our primarily English-speaking audience.

Tim's years as a Human Rights reporter have taken on many dimensions; he has rallied for a long list of cultures and populations and continues to every day, with a strong and direct concentration on the 2009 Genocide of Tamil Hindus and Christians in Sri Lanka. As a result of his long list of reports exposing war crimes against Tamil people, Tim was invited to be the keynote speaker at the FeTNA (Federation of Tamil Sangams of North America) Conference in Baltimore, in July 2012. This is the largest annual gathering of North American Tamils; Tim addressed more than 3000 people and was presented with a traditional Sri Lanka ‘blessed garland’ and a shawl as per the tradition and custom of Tamil Nadu

In a personal capacity, Tim has written 2,026 articles as of March 2012 for Salem-News.com since the new format designed. Tim specializes in writing about political and military developments worldwide; and maintains that the label 'terrorist' is ill placed in many cases; specifically with the LTTE Tamil Tigers in Sri Lanka, where it was used as an excuse to slaughter people by the tense of thousands; and in Gaza, where a trapped population lives at the mercy of Israel's destructive military war crime grinder. At the center of all of this, Tim pays extremely close attention to the safety and welfare of journalists worldwide. You can write to Tim at this address: tim@salem-news.com. I particularly liked the way the LTTE killed Rajiv Gandhi, very classy. See http://iconicphotos.wordpress.com/2012/05/21/assassination-of-rajiv-gandhi/
