(PORTLAND, Ore.) - The new Cannabis Commons and Oregon NORML are excited to announce the reopening of the World Famous Oregon NORML Cannabis Café on July 31, 2010 at 4:20 p.m. at 322 SE 82nd Avenue, Portland, OR 97216. “I am so excited about our new location; we will be able to serve our community so much better,” says Madeline Martinez, Executive Director for Oregon NORML and co-founder of both the café and Cannabis Commons. Ben Cunningham, who has partnered with Madeline for the reopening and the new Cannabis Commons, is equally excited. “I look forward to offering café members a welcome haven at the café, and Cannabis Commons will provide opportunities to broaden our services to include the general public,” Cunningham said. As it was at the first location, the World Famous Oregon NORML Cannabis Café will be open to Oregon Medical Marijuana Program (OMMP) registrants who are members of Oregon NORML. Easily accessible by public transit, and with over four thousand square feet of space, the café and Cannabis Commons promise to become the cutting edge hot spot for all things hemp. Membership to Oregon NORML is $35.00 for the year, and will be available at the door. Café dues are separate at $20.00 per month with a $5.00 door fee for entry. Oregon NORML can also be found on facebook and myspace where updates will also be available. _________________________________________

Interesting that this site points to the Portland cannabis cafe reopening however ignores the Salem chapter of NORML and their cafe that it runs at noon every Friday (and will run every day of the state fair).
Editor: Is it interesting? Have people get in touch with us, we're frickin' busy and the Cannabis Cafe sent out an informative press release, so they made the cut. I hate this snippy crap, just get the information out, have Salem act like it can do things the way they are done in a regular city.
