Marijuana Dependents Lose Marijuana Cost Deductions

So says The Oregonian... and patients can get a legal Marinol prescription

Marinol
Marinol is a synthetic form of Marijuana, acceptable by most insurance plans.

(MOLALLA, OR) - The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Social Security Department, U.S.D.A. Food and Nutrition Service, with the connivance of many government anti-marijuana offices, has decided to kick disabled, destitute medical marijuana patients in the guts AGAIN with totally egregious erroneous statements that, "Marijuana has no currently accepted medical use and can not be prescribed for any medicinal use." Ridiculous.

This is in the face of the fact that synthetic Marinol, the pure marijuana chemical, is FDA approved and widely used. In addition, the U.S. government does grow marijuana and, in fact, gives several marijuana patients 300 marijuana cigarettes each month. Yes, it is true.

So, the secret is out. Maybe the state government won't pay for your relatively cheap grass, but they certainly will for your federally approved prescription of marijuana-like medicine, Marinol. (Just like they will pay for nearly every kind of addictive, and often fatal, pain medicine on the market.)

The federal offices controlling marijuana have made many blunders before, but this exceeds all blunderhood.

In the federal government's most recent asinine blunder, lies the answer to this dilemma - almost any "marijuana doctor" who will sign your application could more easily give you a prescription for Marinol. The government, it appears, is much more excited about you taking synthetic drugs, so here's some perspective for us all.

What's to stop this scenario from happening?

Take a 5.0 milligram Marinol, prescribed by a doctor. If a person is hellbent on smoking something, they simply might take about one half of the pearl content, inject into a tobacco cigarette and smoke it. This is not suggested, but it could be used this way, and legally.

Not only that, but the government will pay for it! But, oh! Not the natural medicine used for thousands of years. Not that! The sick people that use it every day with success will simply have to do without their medicine.

The cost of Marinol is about $20 per day, but don't worry about it. The kind but stern anti-marijuana protectors at the federal government will see that it gets paid for. After all, Marinol is government approved, and clearly not at all like its natural source, marijuana, which has, "No currently accepted medicinal use".

MARIJUANA ITSELF IS STILL THE BEST MEDICINE
