(VANCOUVER, Wash.) - Clackamas County Sheriff's Office detectives arrested the suspect believed responsible for the July 12th stabbing murder in Happy Valley. Clackamas Jim Strovink says the arrest was made Thursday around 5:45 p.m., "with the generous cooperation of the Vancouver Police Department." Deputies executed a Clackamas County arrest warrant - without incident - at an undisclosed residential address in Vancouver, Washington for 20-year old Ruben Anthony Arteaga. Strovink says Arteaga is a suspect in the murder of Jose Ramirez-Navarro; which, happened during an altercation near the Monterey Springs Apartments in Happy Valley. Arteaga, is expected to be lodged in the Clark County Jail and booked on the existing Clackamas County charges of Murder and second-degree Assault. Ruben Anthony Arteaga is scheduled to be lodged in the Clark County Jail; with any legal extradition processing to the State of Oregon to follow. The Clackamas County Sheriff's Detectives are especially grateful to the Vancouver Police for their generous professional support that helped facilitate the arrest of this murder suspect in Vancouver, Washington.
