Amber Alert Issued for Ohio Boy

(TROY, Ohio) - The State of Ohio issued the Amber Alert Thursday afternoon (07-08) after the boy was reportedly abducted by the suspect in Troy. The suspect is wanted in conjunction with a homicide and is considered armed and dangerous.

The suspect and the boy were last seen around midnight Wednesday (07-07). Zane Bedinger, a White male, 7 years old, 4', 65 pounds with brown eyes and brown or strawberry hair. He was last seen wearing gray swimming trunks with black flowers and flip flops. The suspect is Jeff Bedinger, a White male 50 years old, 6 feet 3 inches tall, 235 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. The suspect vehicle is a 2007 silver Honda Accord, four-door with Ohio tag number EDT 6246. Anyone with information is asked to call the Ohio State Police at 1-877-262-3764 or dial 911.
