(JOHN DAY, Ore.) - US Highway 20 is closed to all traffic between mile points 134.4 - 189, due to fire in the area near the highway's intersection with the John Day and Burns Highway, US Highway 395. Officials with the Oregon Department of Transportation are asking motorists to use alternate routes if passing through this section of Oregon. There are no reported injuries at this time and no estimates of property damage or evacuations. Officials recommend checking for updates on TripCheck.com or by calling the road conditions hotline inside Oregon at 511 or (800) 977-6368.
