Vancouver's Most Wanted Captured in Las Vegas

Eldred was wanted on an outstanding warrant for First Degree Rape of a Child.

(LAS VEGAS, Nev.) - Vancouver's Most Wanted suspect, Robert Eldred was apprehended in Las Vegas after members of the SW Washington Career Criminal Apprehension Team developed information indicating Eldred was on a flight from Chicago to Las Vegas.

Kim Kapp with Vancouver Police, says detectives contacted their counterparts with the U.S. Marshals Service and requested assistance in contacting Eldred when he landed in Las Vegas.

"Deputy U.S. Marshals boarded the flight when it arrived in Las Vegas and arrested Eldred. He was booked into the Clark County Jail in Las Vegas and will face extradition back to Clark County, Vancouver next week."
