(VANCOUVER, B.C.) - The Vancouver Canadians sent a packed house of 5,157 home happy with a 8-4 win over the Volcanoes Tuesday afternoon at Nat Bailey Stadium.

The Canadians jumped on Volcanoes starter Ethan Miller right from the get go, hanging 10 hits and six runs on the starter to push him out of the ballgame by the end of the third inning.

Three singles and two steals scored two runs for the C's in the bottom of the first inning, following by a single tally in the second inning to lead the game 3-0.

The Volcanoes got a run back in the top of the third as Shilo McCall doubled to lead off the inning, and would be scored on a RBI singled from Christian Arroyo.

Miller's final, the home half of the third, the Canadians scored three runs on four hits, including a pair of doubles, pushing Vancouver's lead to 6-1 after the first third of the ballgame.

Dusten Knight came in to relieve Miller, and allowed a two-out walk that would eventually score by a double from C's catcher Michael De La Cruz.

McCall scored again in the fifth as the Volcanoes had the bases loaded with one out, but could only muster one run.

Vancouver scored once again to get to their final eight runs with a Ryan McBroom doubled, brought home by a wild pitch and throw in the dugout by Armando Paniagua.

Salem-Keizer tacked on two latex runs, including a solo home run by Christian Arroyo in the top of the ninth inning, his second in as many days.

With the loss, the Volcanoes dropped to 8-11 on a four game slide. It also ensures that Vancouver takes the series with the win.

The Volcanoes have had the lead in just two of the 76 innings over the course of the eight games played in 2014.
