(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Students United for Palestinian Equal Rights (SUPER) announces that Portland will stand in Solidarity with the people Of Egypt this weekend; it happens tomorrow, Saturday 29 January from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. at Pioneer Courthouse Square.

Inspired by the successful ouster of the tyrant of Tunisia and the continued mobilizations in that country for justice, the masses in Egypt have engaged in huge rallies for two days straight, fighting off vicious police attacks and mass arrests.

Wael Elasady, Co-founder of SUPER, says, "A free Egypt is the key to justice throughout the Arab world."

"They have shown they will not give up even in the face of guns, tear gas and other weapons supplied and paid for by the United States."

He invites everyone to come stand in solidarity with the brave people of Egypt, and also to invite your friends on Facebook

Special thanks to: Students United for Palestinian Equal Rights
