(LONDON) - Gilad Atzmon says in regard to his recent appearance on Al-Mayadeen TV,

"This is probably the clearest interview I have given about my thoughts, The Wandering Who, Israel. Judaism, Zionism, Jewishness, AZZ, Palestine and more".

I can see why he says that. This is rare insight from one of the most experienced sets of eyes with regard to modern Israeli conflict, and if he believes it is one of the most comprehensive, then it is.

Many of us have watched the moving and jarring animated movie, Waltz with Bashir and I can't help being drawn to that; the confusion was rife in the minds of so many young Israeli soldiers in '82 who simply followed the national call to duty. Of course in Israel every single person, regardless of their aspirations or qualifications, is forced to serve in the military, the Israeli Defence Forces.

I suspect that Gilad is several times the man he could have been if he had not followed that call to arms, because it opened his eyes and his mind to a new type of thinking, one that involves much fairness and zero discrimination.

Gilad Atzmon is one of the Salem-News.com rock stars, and I don't just say that because he is one of the top jazz saxophonists in the world today, I say it because he has done more for this world than most people will in terms of communicating the raw need for humanity over religious supremacy.

Well "one of the top jazz saxophonists in the world today"...... So how come no one heard about him in the US, or is the US not part of the world.......

Editor: I wouldn't base what other people know, upon what you know.
