(SALEM) - In a violent world where a genocide can claim as many as six million human lives in a single 'program', it seems unimaginable that the deaths of 29 people could, in modern times, hugely impact the future of all human beings.

That's right, the world's safety and World War Three itself, hinges on the reaction to the deaths of 29 innocent people. Is your child's future worth the honor of 29 people?

One day in 1994, an Israeli doctor entered a Muslim place of worship and opened fire with an assault rifle. He had several magazines but eventually ran out of ammo and the survivors killed him.

Heinous and utterly cold blooded and cruel, this 'doctor' is a martyr today among Israeli settlers, who live in colonies built specifically on stolen Palestinian land.

This pre-meditated crime was committed during the Intifada when fragile peace negotiations were underway, and as the Website Palestine Facts explains, the tragic bloody shooting was a political disaster:

The crime in Hebron that history would recall as the Cave of the Patriarchs massacre, was fully denounced by the Israeli government and religious leaders.

That is good, but made little difference for the 29 dead and 125 people injured while praying, by a man who was a physician no less; raised on western values and right-wing Zionist ideology.

The shot of irony is that, as it turns out, this mass murdering Jewish settler terrorist was an American. Americans, the millions of hard working people whose tax dollars that are given by their politicians to Israel, ensure that every Jewish Israeli is guaranteed a college education. Isn't that something? Americans, they are so good to the Israelis that Congress recently offered the leader of the Israeli regime, Benjamin Netanyahu, exactly 29 standing ovations... what?

Baruch Kopel Goldstein (Hebrew: ברוך קופל גולדשטיין‎; December 9, 1956 – February 25, 1994) was an American-born Jewish Israeli physician and mass murderer who perpetrated the 1994 Cave of the Patriarchs massacre in the city of Hebron, killing 29 Palestinian Muslim worshipers and wounding another 125. The Israeli government condemned the massacre and responded by arresting followers of Meir Kahane, forbidding certain settlers from entering Arab towns and demanding that those settlers turn in their army-issued rifles. Goldstein was denounced by mainstream Orthodox Judaism and was widely described as insane by Israelis. Goldstein's gravesite became a pilgrimage site for Jewish extremists. Remembering Tragedy

Surely most people know of this mass murder that left almost 30 Palestinians dead, and several times that many injured.

Wait... what? You haven't heard of it?

OK, I admit I hadn't either.

I had to search for it as so many attacks on Arabs claim so many more lives. Operation Cast Lead, or The Gaza War as it is also known, in 2008 and 2009, left more than 1400 Palestinian people dead, among them 400 children, with injuries that western doctors working in Gaza said, exceeded anything they had ever seen.

Of course one reason is Israel's use of illegal weapons such as Depleted Uranium (DU) and White Phosphorus; and the fact that civilians were ordered into areas that Israel consequently shelled. Of course in that attack more than 50 hospitals and medical facilities and over 200 schools were targeted with deadly results.

Any time Israeli officials refer to these incidents they call them tragic mistakes, yet Israel possesses the most sophisticated targeting hardware in existence, so in reality the places they strike are the exact places they set out to strike.

29 people, I didn't really expect you to think the deaths of Palestinians bothered anyone in western government; they surely aren't the 29 deaths that threaten world peace. Any time a society is taken hostage and played down, to the extent that Newt Gingrich called Palestinians "an invented people" and western press publishes it, there is little hope.

Israel's Culture of Religious Violence

Israeli Zionism is the root of this evil and it causes people (and I mean they are raised and indoctrinated to believe this) that they are entitled to kill innocent people and steal their land because "God gave it to them" and while it is true that the Holy Bible indeed relates God's concern for the Jewish people and calls them his "chosen people", it does not state in the bible exactly what, where and how big of a swath of the Middle east this entitles them to.

And 'entitlement' is the buzzword of all time in this story, and it is sad and leads Israelis to commit terrible inhumane acts against Arab people.

This 'Zionist movement' incidentally, is an idea conceived in the 1880's by a German named Theodore Herzel and there was no such thing as Israel until 1948. Until that point, the land was occupied by British and under the 'Palestinian Mandate'.

Of course the Jewish people suffered a terrible fate during the Holocaust and millions were murdered; everything that happened then, to the Jews and Roma (Gypsies) and so many others in WWII, (millions and millions of people rarely mentioned) and the Palestinians who have suffered as a result of the Jewish exodus and consequent decades of Israeli land grabs, is the fault of Nazi Germany and the dominant racism of his Nazi henchmen. Then, there were the fascist rulers of Italy, Spain and other countries, that sided with Hitler. Even Stalin tried to be his friend, only to get the big burn that only a true madman could conjure up.

Oh, 29 Israeli Deaths...

But I digress; this article is about how 29 lives can change the whole direction of the world. We have established that the 29 terrible Palestinian deaths happened in 1994 due to the motivations of an Israeli madman, but also that few, only the people really dialed in, probably know anything about it. But people sure know about those rocket attacks from Gaza that continually dominate conversations about the Palestine-Israel crisis.

As if to add a quick stab of extra injustice, the latter three referenced reports were published during the genocidal cast lead.

1000's of Rockets, and 29 Deaths

I have written about this before at length, and while the Wikipedia page Palestinian rocket attacks on Israel - Wikipedia still states 28 Israelis have been killed as a result of the 'rocket attacks', I believe one additional death has taken place since then, but face it, the media in the U.S. and Israel has people convinced that Israelis are essentially dodging Qassam rockets as they walk down the street, it is not the case.

In a press release from the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) it was stated that: "Although Israel withdrew from the Gaza Strip in 2005, terrorists continued to launch thousands of rockets into Israeli cities and communities."

The more edgy Israelis sometimes add a digit, making it "Tens of thousands of rockets" and I noted one blog lamenting how the Israelis have to "listen to the blare of sirens" with a description that sounds one step short of agony. My question however, is that if so damned many rockets are being fired from Gaza, how could the number of victims not be higher?

It is terrible that there are any victims at all, nobody should die a violent death, but Israel and its minions use this rocket science as the prime example for the continuation of their occupation and apartheid laws and Israeli policies of violence toward the Palestinians.

Different roads for Jews and those who aren't...

Separate laws for Jews and all who aren't...

Arrest ages for Palestinian kids far younger...

All continually justified by the rocket attacks in Gaza, what a steaming pile of bullshit it all really is.
