(SALEM, Ore.) - As thousands pour into the stands in Arizona on Monday, many Duck fans will be anxiously waiting for the game to begin- from Oregon. Media reports of the airlines filling up has motivated many Oregonians to fill up the tank and hit the road. Luckily, mother nature hasn't been too unkind and the major freeways and highways look to be clear for the drive southward. About A Thousand Miles... It is a long drive, but something in the Duck passion fuels these committed fans. Maybe it's a serious case of the Quack Attacks, but no one is complaining about the drive. They may complain about the price of a ticket, however! At latest quote, the cheapest game ticket is just over $2400 online. The highest? Over $7,000. If you already have a ticket, or are willing to buy one when you get to Arizona, you can still catch a ride as there are still some available seats in private vehicles, but you'll have to make your decision quickly- they leave tomorrow. One long-distance driver, Dennis Osbourn has room for 4 more passengers in his RV. "It's a luxurious ride. We cook all the meals, do all the driving, and all the Ducks fans need to do is practice their cheers!" This historical playoff game is something not to be missed by any Oregonian, regardless of their Duck or Beaver bias. And for many, there's no better way to show your support for a team that has wow'd the world, than to show up in person, and make their voices heard. And remember, send us your photos and videos! Salem-News.com is happy to share the excitement and give you the credit. Email us: newsroom@salem-news.com, and be sure to include your name/home town. If you research history, governments/tyrants/dictators used sports events to distract and control the people. The Romans perfected it. Sports alone is ok, I like sports, but if you did not notice, sports is blasted all over the MSM, and now even alternative news. It is a distraction. Most people know names of the football players, but dont know Patrick Henry's speech, nor that a court decision came down yesterday (in favor of the people, not the banks, I am totally shocked), that is going to bring down many banking institutions. The powers to be have used sports events to distract and pacify, while robbing them blind and accepting their slavery. They dont teach this in skools..
