The World Should Stop Israel's Killing Machine (VIDEO)

The country that the United States has shown decades of blind support for while contributing billions in U.S. taxpayer revenue, has a seriously checkered past when it comes to military restraint.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Today's Israel began its existence as a terrorist nation. That is a hard fact for many people to accept, but it is true. Great Britain and the United States were complicit in the formation of the Jewish state in 1947-48, and both nations are presently aware that Israel has undeclared nuclear weapons pointing at its neighbors, as it lies to the world and claims to be a non-nuclear entity.

Israel has evolved into a country that kills large numbers of Palestinian people in retaliation for the loss of a few of their own. Today, it is a country despised by its neighbors over its lack of lethal restraint in resolving its affairs.

But it is important to remember that just as Americans have writhed and cringed under the leadership of George W. Bush, rational Israeli's are equally dismayed and concerned over their country's militaristic approach to dealing with problems.

We reported several days ago that while Israel claims that their military action on the Gaza Strip is a response to rocket attacks, the actual violation of an Egypt-brokered truce was initially violated by Israeli's who violated the agreement with a military excursion into Gaza several weeks ago. (see my article: Israel Drew First Blood Against Hamas)

Perhaps it isn't about who did what first. Hamas has no right to fire rockets at Israeli neighborhoods. But these are the actions of a few and the people at large are paying the bill; that is equally wrong when you examine the history.

In reality, most of the weapons Palestinians have lobbed at Israeli's have been rocks and stones. Israel's weaponry includes the American F-16 and F-15 jet fighters.

From its earliest days, the people who formed Israel did so through the use of intimidation and force. Nothing has changed, except the degree of power that Israel has risen to attain.

The highly contested real estate known as "The Promised Land" in the Bible, was home for many Palestinian people in 1947. Therein lies the problem.

Israel was formed in the aftermath of the tragedy experienced by the Jewish people during Adolf Hitler's Third Reich. The millions killed in the concentration camps of Europe died for no reason beyond prejudice and genocide. Their loss however, does not justify the plight of the Palestinian people, or give the Israeli's a blank check.

In fact Israel may already be starting to regret its warring decisions. As the dead number in the hundreds, 2500 people have reportedly been wounded. Israel's ongoing military attack is bringing pressure from groups like the United Nations who are trying in vain so far, to bring an end to the violence and bloodshed.

Israel's Abusive Military History

Victims of the Deir Yassin Massacre in 1948. These
Palestinian women were murdered as Israel was born.

The Massacre at Dair Yasin Megan on April 9th, 1948, is a glaring example of how Israel came to be. It left scores dead and eliminated the homes of the other people who lived at Dair Yasin.

According to historical reports, the attack began as the children were asleep in their mothers' and fathers' arms.

In the words of Menachim Begin, as he described events, "the Arabs fought tenaciously in defense of their homes, their women and their children."

The fighting moved from house to house, and whenever the Jews occupied a house, they would blow it up, then direct a call to the inhabitants to flee or face death.

The group SoundofEgypt.com, reports that people left in terror, hoping to save their children and women.

"Then, in a picture of barbarism the likes of which humanity has rarely witnessed except on the part of the most depraved, the terrorists began throwing bombs inside the houses in order to bring them down on whoever was inside. The orders they had received were for them to destroy every house."

The explosions were the sound if Israel forming, and they continued in the same "barbaric fashion" until the afternoon of April 10th, 1948.

If it was possible to list all of the events that Israeli forces have been involved in that resemble terrorism, the list would be very long. There are a number of prominent and well known events however, and they are listed here, along with a link below the list that will lead to data on all of the referenced events.

Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad al-Malki says Arab countries were drafting a U.N. Security Council council resolution Monday, demanding an immediate end to "Israeli aggression" in Gaza.

Arab foreign ministers were meeting at the United Nations Monday to discuss the draft as Israeli forces continued to pound Gaza, Malki said.

He told reporters that the chief of the Arab League, Amr Moussa, along with ministers from Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Saudi Arabia and other Arab states, will discuss the crisis with representatives of the five permanent Security Council members and U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.

Dear Tim, Since 2001, Palestinians in Gaza have fired over 10,000 rockets and mortars into southern Israel. When a 6-month cease fire between Israel and Hamas ended last month, Hamas rejected its renewal and immediately escalated its missile fire. No sovereign nation would allow itself to be targeted in this fashion without seeking to defend its citizens. Israel is finally exercising this basic right of self defense and has launched a military operation designed to end the rocket fire from Gaza. Israel has pinpointed its attacks on Hamas, a terrorist organization that does not recognize Israel's right to exist and is backed by Iran. Israel has gone to great lengths to minimize civilian casualties. During his recent visit to Sderot also incoming US president Barack Obama stated that 'no country should have to live under the threat of daily rockets attacks.' We would also like to draw attention to similar statements made by moderate Arab leaders who acknowledge that it is Hamas who have caused the Israeli military operation by continuing to fire rockets in to Israel. ECI likes to reiterate the main objective of Hamas which is the complete destruction of Israel. In trying to achieve its goal it has shown no respect for human life, and has used its own civilian population as human shields against the Israeli army. These actions constitute the gravest crimes against humanity and must immediately be condemned by the world community. It is of utmost importance that the European Union and the world community at large ensure that Gaza will cease to be a platform for terrorist activities and help rebuild a society free from hatred and violence. The best way to end the current military operation with innocent suffering on both sides is for Hamas to stop firing rockets and mortars into Israel and commit to living in peace with its neighbors. When Hamas took over the Gaza area, they killed their own civilians more than Israel has ever killed people during conflicts.I am truly sad, that many western medias are fooled by media war of supporters of Hamas. Yours sincirely, Cata Mansikka-aho political assistant Parliament of Finland

thanks tim. (To protect and defend the Constitution from all enemies, both foreign and domestic)

hey, you HAVE to see this video! It is AMAZING!!

Its only 2 minutes long. About 50 seconds into the video a palestinian woman decides there has been enough shooting. This TRULY is a MUST SEE!!

It is time the American people are made aware the "Israeli Governmenmt" is responsible for continued terro in the world. It is no the Isaeli people, at least most of them, it is the "Olde Garde" who make the world believe they are VICTIM'S of prosecution and attacks WEe should ask abount the APARTHEID, they have practiced again the Palestinian people. It is not the fist time that American aid has been misapplied and misused to slaughter innocent vivilians

Anonymous January 7, 2009 6:46 pm (Pacific time)

Tim: I was talking about the oath to protect the Constitution.
I have been reading some of your comments, we may have to share a cup of coffee someday.. u r ok. :-)
major thanks for your diligence in truth. I will respond again with name etc. maybe. :-)
In all honesty, I am kinda afraid, but YOU are doing it, so, maybe I should also. We can share a FEMA cell together maybe? Think they will let me bring my puppy?

Tim King: Thanks for the clarification.   When I am on patrol in the combat theaters with soldiers or Marines I am part of their team.  I am an extra set of eyes and ears and I even road shotgun in a HUMVEE for a few hundred miles in Afghanistan.  Lots of people have told me they are comfortable with me around in these areas.  I love my country but more for what it is supposed to be than for what it hsa become.  I could never deny my patriotism and I think truth telling is a heck of a good mission.  Take care, let's hope we never need to ask about the puppy...

thanks to salem-news for letting people post anon. people could work around it if ya didnt. It is a mute point. who cares, we are just expressing opinions.

Daniel: good points. and I think Tim King did well by expressing truth here.

Question for Tim: are you going to keep your oath?

Tim King: Yes, I am. I believe in all people; Jewish, Muslim, Christian, Bhuddhist and beyond.

Daniel January 7, 2009 2:28 pm (Pacific time)

Tim not tim king ,Tim King is anti Israeli government policies not anti Jewish . The semitic people of the middle east are both Jewish and Moslem . One could make the argument the russian, American and european Jewish immigrant population that controls Israel is anti Semitic , killing off the native semitic people . The policies of Israel are too short sited and self-destructive . They have followed the Bush lead , and where has that gotten America ? I am a supporter of Israel and believe they should live in harmony with there Arab brothers. There are 17 million Jews and 1400 million Moslems on the Planet . Israel at the moment has a large military advantage , this may not be the case in the near future . The usa has been arming Israelis neighbors to the teeth . What happens if one of these friendly countries has an internal revolution like Iran because of this war ? Watch world TV thru the internet and see the Arab and European street reaction to the bombing . The war is a PR disaster for Israel , even in the USA where the press is very pro Israel . There is great debate in Israel over a cease fire or the push . The push would cause more civilian death and a much higher IDF loss. Neither would play well in Israel or the world . Its all about Israeli politics , who can look tough before elections . Believe me if only one of the 6000 rockets hit the house of Israeli leadership the bombs would have been dropped months ago . The rockets were a reaction to the killing of Hamas leadership during the so called truce ,and the blockade of vital supplies into gaza . This back and forth will never end until strong USA leadership steps in and brokers a deal . The Bush dealing of, follow by my example , have been a failure , lets hope Obama can do better . This is a very volatile area of the world with both Israel and Pakistan having nuclear weapons. There are too many poster who think they are watching some kind of video game . Let us also pray the mass killing of children does not cause a wave of suicide bombers in western countries and to western interest .

Anonymous January 7, 2009 1:10 pm (Pacific time)

michael has a great point..I tend to lean towards his point. we dont have proof, but we do have the USS Liberty and other historic events where israel kills anything in its path for their god. Here is the point ok? Both sides need major counseling. But where I get concerned, is when the U.S. picks sides. Both sides suck, it just seems, as this point in time, israel is sucking a bit more than the other side. :-) by the way...where is osama bin laden? I suppose the cia and the mossad have used him enough to get their way, and its time for a new evil for the military complex.

Anonymous January 7, 2009 1:03 pm (Pacific time)

I believe in Christ. For those that also believe, it might be time to turn off the tv and read the Bible. Matthew: * 37. * O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together , even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not! * 38. * Behold , your house is left unto you desolate. * 39. * For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth , till ye shall say , Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord. That is Bible/Christian stuff, on a level for those who do not want religion in politics, I agree with you. Just showing. Interesting comment I read here. They will always fight, choose a side. I disagree. WE DO NOT NEED TO CHOOSE A SIDE!! THIS IS NONE OF OUR BUSINESS!!! Let them fight, but this is none of our business, and we should be spending money working with the U.S. not protecting Israel. Your post is wrong, WE DONT HAVE TO TAKE SIDES. We CAN condemn thru free speech, but it should not go further than that. one last point. the mainstream media lies, but thru the internet they have to tell the truth sometimes. CNN verified that Israel broke the truce. search it on youtube. Thank you Tim for your efforts. Tim...check out www.whatreallyhappened.com not the greatest website, but a good resource. thanks again for your efforts.

michael mazur January 7, 2009 5:10 am (Pacific time)

There is no evidence that Hamas actually fires the rockets. MK Gilad Erdan did say that because they fall on vacant ground a open air prison should be built there to contain Palestinian terrorists. Why would Hamas fire rockets onto vacant ground ? Answer: they wouldn't. Would Israel ? Certainly! They have been planning and training for this op into Gaza for 6 months. So, do the provocation yourself to kick things along or get a friendly Arab to do it for you. But instead of that, the best thing is to make it a pure media invention and the only way to spot this is to look for evidence of psyops in the TV justification for the assault on the Gaza Palestinians. One can spot it everytime. And in spotting it one realises that no Israeli civilians have been killed by Hamas rockets.

Tim January 7, 2009 12:26 am (Pacific time)

Tim, I didn't say that you were anti-semite, the article contains an anti-semitic theme. You are silly but about a 40% support rate. Unfortunately, these articles cause divisiveness and breed hate between Americans as well. Supporting a terrorist organization, such as Hamas, is somewhat controversial. Too bad you didn't learn more in the Marine Corps.

Stephen Burgoyne Coulson January 6, 2009 11:36 pm (Pacific time)

There are still many vocal supporters of the Zionist state but Israel's spell is broken. Now there are too many leaks around the mainstream media to control the "truth" and people are learning what they are not supposed to know. Israel will eventually have to change and become a law abiding state or disappear. No country has a right to exist. Countries leave the world stage when people are done with them and see no more value in them. That's just the way it is.

James January 6, 2009 4:42 pm (Pacific time)

Understand one thing. There will never be peace in this region so just stop looking for ways to find it. The only choice to make is "who do I want to win." My choice is Israel.

xexon January 6, 2009 10:35 am (Pacific time)

I have a couple of links to offer up myself, because living in a democracy demands you be well informed. Otherwise, your ability to vote sucks. The first is a link to many links, offering news out of the Middle East:http://www.wrmea.com/links/index.htm The second is a concise definition of what modern zionism actually is:http://www.uruknet.info/?p=47391 Please spend some time educating yourselves. The hour is late. x

Alex January 6, 2009 8:36 am (Pacific time)

Tim King is correct. IMO Israel and its enablers are the real terrorists. It's about control, stealing land and resources among other real reasons. The Palestinians are resisting 60 years of illegal armed occupation.

Vic January 6, 2009 8:20 am (Pacific time)

Wow...I didnt realize there were so many Zionazis out there. My advice to Desert Rat, Harrtumph, Robert and the coward anonymous is to get the hell out of our country and move to Israel. The Bible? What does the bible say about murdering children? What does it say about lying, stealing and murdering? Funny that you hatemongers would hide behind the bible. So what part of Tims report is false? You idiots cant dispute the truth so you resort to personal attacks. The truth hurts, especially to narrow minded little morons who have a racist agenda. Move to Israel, you hate filled losers!!!!

DENCOUCH January 6, 2009 7:43 am (Pacific time)

http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.viewandpageId=60098 Mr. King, could you put this issue into perspective? I am afraid that you have opened a can of worms with this article. I hope you are up to the fight and forgo the need to drag it down into the gutter. Advice: Take the high ground and stay civil.

Tim King: I will expand on this, and I am including your link for now but I didn't get it to open.  If you can send in another URL I will add it.

Ranger January 6, 2009 7:39 am (Pacific time)

As a Vietnam vet, retired law enforcement officer, and amateur historian, I applaud your efforts to spread the truth about the terrorist foundations of Israel. Keep up the good work and ignore all the ignorant Zionist stooges that attack the truth.

xexon January 6, 2009 7:20 am (Pacific time)

Israel is a racist, apartheid state. Zionism is a radical Jewish supremacist movement that is also deeply entrenched in the federal government of the United States. We've been hijacked, and most of you are clueless about it. Its time to break the back of the Israeli lobby in the US and end that 60 years worth of US aid for their military machine. Supporting this vile little nazi state is bringing war right to our own lands. It's time to cut the cord with Israel. x

gabby January 6, 2009 6:45 am (Pacific time)

Thank-you Tim. The truth for once. You are a brave soul.

trudy January 6, 2009 6:37 am (Pacific time)

Thank you Tim King. Don´t listen to the Zionist shills. They have lost sense of all reality as well as sense of all ethics. The whole world sides with the Palestinians this time, even if the mainline media tries to cover up the facts.

Patriot January 6, 2009 6:33 am (Pacific time)

Looking at some of the post - tough for some folks to accept the facts. Americans have been bamboozled and brainwashed into the support Israel mantra. The sooner we wake-up and stop our support for Israel (and others in the region), we will be dragged further into this endless pit. Xenon is correct Zionism is same as Nazism. It has spread - has a chokehold on us. All you need to do is look at the past 8 yrs. Encourage all open-minded folks to read "The Israel Lobby" by Profs Mearcheimer - what an eyeopener.

Brad January 6, 2009 6:31 am (Pacific time)

Bravo Zulu Tim. Wish we had more reporters like you. It is also refreshing to see so many fellow Veterans waking up and speaking truth to power. These people giving you a hard time are just useful idiots that buy into the lies of the Mainstream Media or they are disinfo agents from GIYUS (or some other Israeli public relations firm). John January 6, 2009 6:25 am (Pacific time)

It is exceedingly rare to find a published account of Israeli history and deeds. The reason why it is so rare is demonstrated by the rather childishly constructed rebuttals noted already in this posting. Anyone who is serous about understanding the causes of what is transpiring in the Middle East should READ what has been written by the actual people engaged in the creation of Israel. From the earliest Zionists in the 19th century to today’s politicians, they have been very forthright about their intentions and their actions – it’s only a secret here in the West because of self-censorship. The facts are out there. It just takes some time and determination to genuinely understand the nature of Israel’s creation and sordid history.

greg January 6, 2009 6:03 am (Pacific time)

The latest polls in Israel show 71% support for an air and/or ground offensive in Gaza.

Tim January 6, 2009 2:38 am (Pacific time)

This article is obviously a ruse to gain support for Israel. No self-respecting journalist would write this as a serious position. Next we will have to validate freedom of press for sanity. If that were to happen, we would lose half of our newspapers.
If a country can't defend itself against blatant attempts to be annihilated, it will never be able to defend itself. We should have never joined in World War II, right? What right did we have to attack another nation just because they were trying to take over the world. They were only killing those who resisted...and, uh, the Jews. Well maybe that isn't a good example for this article if we continue with the anti-semitic theme.
Let's pull our troops out of Bosnia before we start discussing what other countries are doing to defend themselves.
Cancel the war on terrorism!
This article was hilarious though! Happy Hanukah!
(I found some baggage in Baghdad with your name on it.)

Tim King: Wow Tim, that was really entertaining.  I will defer to all of  the supportive comments here.  Calling me an anti-semite is really offensive, and one of the weakest and lamest things anyone throws out at me when I expose the world to true hard facts.  I have many Jewish friends and guess what?  Most agree with me.  That's because this is about a country's illegal and immoral actions, not about religion or culture.  My life is dedicated to fighting racism.

Anonymous January 6, 2009 12:23 am (Pacific time)

Tim King: I only can say one thing. You are a disgrace to journalism. Hamas is a terror organization, they hide behind their women and children. They love death more than we love life. Israel has every right to defend her people. I better stop before I get more upset about this pathetic piece what you call a report.

Tim King: Mean with a keyboard eh?  Whatever, go take your propaganda pill and keep learning how to ignore facts.

Harumph January 5, 2009 11:53 pm (Pacific time)

Wow, this is just plain horrible propaganda. Dishonest, lacking any perspecitve, and very, very selective detail selection and rejection, designed to make people come to a false conclusion.

Israel should blast Hamas, Fatah, and rest of those nutcases off the planet, and take over ALL the Palestinian's areas. I can't imagine how you could possibly arrive at the utterly absurd conclusions you do. Hamas has been militarily attacking Israel to the tune of thousands of rocket attacks a year, for years. And, after Israel takes years to respond, you blast Israel for doing so.

Where's your condemnation for Hamas? Which is nothing but a bunch of terrorists, carrying it out against Israel AND against anyone who might be a challenge WITHIN the Palestinians. They kill more Palestinians than they do Israelis, by far, conducting an endless internal war against any and all dissent.

But no, you can't condemn that. Why, that would require honesty.

Tim King: You are a riot.  There are so many problems with the way Israel does business, that they could never be counted.  You know, you have the rest of the western media to keep the "let's keep funding Israel" mantra alive.  We just examine numbers in these parts and that is all you need to know about Israel.  Of course you are a hardcore right wing news junkie, I still can't imagine how anyone with half a brain could keep swallowing that jagged pill called Israel.  I want peace, I want everyone to live in peace.  To approve of the killing of civilians is just evil.

Robert January 5, 2009 10:31 pm (Pacific time)

Dude, your articles are a joke. The majority of the world sides with Israel and with common sense. Get it. This is a war between good and evil. Hamas is evil for hiding among civilians. They are cowards for not wearing military uniforms. They are cowards for hiding in the shadows and waiting to ambush. They are cowards for lobbing rockets to kill and maim civilians. They are liars and cheats. If they were here in America you would be arguing to have them imprisoned. And you certainly would not want to live next door to them. They are a vile pestilence and must be erradicated.

Desert Rat January 5, 2009 10:14 pm (Pacific time)

Seriously Tim,

Have you ever read the Bible?

Tim King: Yes Desert Rat, but I'm no Biblical scholar and I don't claim to be.  The comment before yours claimed that it is a war of "good versus evil" and I say that is a crock.  That guy must still think the Crusades are taking place; they're not.  In fact, our military operations in both theaters involve constant dependence on Muslim soldiers of either the IA or the ANA.  Those guys have our soldier's and Marine's backs and they've had my back too when I've been on operations covering both Iraq and Afghanistan.  My point in this article is that Israel has many problems that need to be addressed.  If they can't find a better way than by slaughtering civilians, then the UN or another entity needs to reign them in.  I could care less honestly about the people who find this offensive, because it is an article about FACTS and they are all easily verified.

xexon January 5, 2009 3:11 pm (Pacific time)

Zionism is to the Jews what Nazism was to the Germans...Something that needs to be stopped before it spreads. x
