Two Die in Crash Near Hood River

Oregon State Police troopers busy on the scene of this double fatal traffic crash say no more information expected to be released until Saturday morning.

(HOOD RIVER, Ore.) - Oregon State Police are reporting a double fatal traffic crash on Highway 35 just south of Hood River near milepost 101.

There are two confirmed victims and two others were reportedly transported with trauma injuries.

Police say Highway 35 is closed at this location, so motorists will have to find another route if they are traveling on Highway 35 near milepost 101.

Oregon Department of Transportation officials say there may be traffic updates issued on their Website, TripCheck.com.

I'm friends with the two fatalities, their younger sister is one of the injuries.
