Victim Identified in Fatal Pedestrian Crash December 30th

Update: Victim Identified - Fatal Vehicle / Pedestrian Crash - Interstate 84 at Bridal Veil Interchange

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Oregon State Police are continuing the investigation into a fatal pedestrian involved crash Sunday night that resulted in the death of a Spokane, Washington woman.

Sergeant Dan Swift with Oregon State Police says the victim was positively identified as 29-year old Stephany Annette McAllister of Spokane. She was pronounced dead at the scene, and her next of kin have been notified.

Swift says died after being struck December 30th at approximately 9:30 PM.

A 2000 Toyota Echo driven by 22-year old Jessica Michele Moore of Hood River was westbound on Interstate 84 near milepost 28 when it struck a woman walking across the westbound lanes.

Moore was not injured. Oregon State Police troopers from the Portland Area Command office are continuing the investigation. Assistance at the scene provided by Multnomah County Sheriff's Office, ODOT, Corbett Fire Department, and Multnomah County Medical Examiner. The westbound lanes of Interstate 84 fully reopened about 1:30 AM.
