(SALEM, Ore.) - Marion County Sheriff's Office deputies are investigating an armed robbery at a Salem liquor story that happened New Year's Eve around 7:15 PM. Lt. Sheila Lorance with the Marion County Sheriff's Office says the armed robbery happened at the Lancaster Liquor store at 698 Lancaster Drive NE. According to Security Officers, two Hispanic males entered the store and the first suspect took a bottle of alcohol and both suspects walked out of the store without paying for it. Lorance says security Officers followed them out of the store and when confronted the second suspect displayed a handgun and told them to leave. They reportedly left in an unknown direction. The first suspect is described as a Hispanic male, in his late teens five foot eight to five foot nine inches tall. The second suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his early 20's, heavy set with a mustache. If you have any information regarding the robbery or either of the suspects please contact the Marion County Sheriff's Office at (503) 588-5032.
