(VANCOUVER, Wash.) - Police say that on February 22nd at approximately 1:00 a.m., Clark County Sheriff's Deputies were called to a residence in the Hazel Dell area of Clark County on report of a missing 13-year old girl, Alycia D. Nipp of Vancouver. Sgt. Scott Schanaker with the Clark County Sheriff's Office, says that upon arrival, deputies were told that Alycia had last been seen by family and friends around 5:00 p.m. when she had walked through a field north of the Goodwill on NE 78th Street. "While deputies were at the residence, Alycia's step father had been out looking for Alicia," Schnaker said. "He returned home around 2:30 a.m. saying he had located Alycia in an empty field west of the residence approximately 200 yards east of NE 13th Ave. Alycia was deceased." Schanaker says the Clark County Sheriff's Office Major Crimes Unit responded to the scene and took over the investigation. At this time it appears that Alycia died of homicidal violence. UPDATE: Clark County Medical Examiner DR. Dennis Wikham has conducted an autopsy on Alycia Nipp. It is Dr. Wikham's determination that Alycia died from multiple stab wounds. Based on evidence at the scene it appears that Alicia was killed at one location and her body was dragged approximately 100 yards to the location she was recovered from. When Alicia was found all of her clothing was intact. At this point there is no clear motive for this crime. The Clark County Sheriff's Office Major Crimes Unit is continuing in their investigation into this matter. There is no further information updating this investigation at this time. When information becomes available it will be provided. Prepared by Sgt.
