(BURNS, Ore.) - A 21-year old male died Tuesday afternoon in a single vehicle rollover crash on Highway 95 about 39 miles north of the Oregon/Nevada border. The victim's name is withheld pending completion of next of kin notification. Preliminary investigation indicates that today at approximately 2:00 PM, a Ford Ranger pickup driven by the victim was northbound on Highway 95 near milepost 83 when it drifted onto the shoulder. Police say the driver over-corrected and the pickup rolled before coming to rest in the middle of the highway. The male victim driver was pronounced deceased at the scene. Oregon State Police troopers from the Ontario Area Command office are investigating. Malheur County Sheriff's Office, ODOT and local emergency responders assisted at the scene. The highway has been partially blocked during the investigation.
