The Kingdom Of David

“There is no such thing as the Palestinian people. It’s not as if we came and took their country from them…they simply didn’t exist” - Golda Meir

Kingdom of David

(LONDON) - My political compass appears to be spinning out of control. Frankly I am more than confused, I am actually lost.

Since July 2013, the hapless Mr. John Kerry has been trying to put life into the so-called peace process between the occupying forces of Palestine and a segment of the Palestinian people, the Palestinian Authority. In vain. Mr. Kerry and anybody who believes that Israel is even remotely interested in a just and lasting peace are deluded in the extreme. It is like a surgeon trying to operate on a dead corpse when what is needed is a thorough post-mortem.

Each and every trip that Mr. Kerry has made to occupied Palestine, Jordan, The United Arab Emirates or Saudi Arabia has been taken for one purpose only; to liquidate the Palestinian Cause once and for all for the sole benefit of the Zionist occupiers of our land. After every visit Israel has declared more land confiscations, more new settlements and carried out more house demolitions in East Jerusalem and the surrounding areas. It’s as if to say to Mr. Kerry – talk away, we do what we like and nothing, but nothing you do or say, will alter our course. That course is to create The Kingdom of David.

Here is a synopsis of what has been leaked from these negotiations. They are secret, you understand, because we, the people of Palestine are not important enough or mature enough to be made privy to vital decisions which will determine our fate.

The PA's Mahmoud Abbas

The unelected, unmandated President of the Palestinian Authority, Mr. Mahmoud Abbas is now saying that he'll never recognize Israel as a Jewish State (very brave if a little too late). Yet, Israel’s chief negotiator, Justice Minister Tzipi Livni hinted to a cabinet colleague he could well be in for a surprise. According to her, Mr. Abbas may well be persuaded to consider Israel as a Jewish State. What is the truth of the matter? We are still none the wiser.

Originally, Mr. Abbas insisted that the gradual removal of the illegal Jewish settlements should be within three years of reaching a final agreement. He has now extended that period to five years. He also said that controlling the borders between Jordan and Palestine should be left to the Palestinians. Now he is saying that he would have no objection to NATO forces being stationed anywhere in Palestine.

Mr. Netanyahu and his extremist settler partners in government have called all this absurd and Mr. Netanyahu has continued by declaring, especially for Mr. Kerry’s benefit, that anyone who says that Israel must abandon these settlements or The Jordan Valley is living in cloud cuckoo land. Then Mr. Kerry, chancing his hand by saying that if Israel does not agree with his plans the world community might not be best pleased. It might even start applying tough sanctions on Israel. All Hell has broken loose!

“Kerry has declared war on God, ”say hard-line rabbis, warning darkly of divine punishment. If he insists on going ahead with his plans he can expect, they prophesy, “severe Heavenly punishment for everyone involved.”

For, as they go on, “God awarded the entire land of Israel to our ancestors, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in order that they bequeath it as an ever-lasting inheritance to their descendents, the Jewish people until the end of all time.”

Do you find it odd of God to become the exclusive estate agent of the Jews? How can you reason with people like this?

To add to the confusion the Jewish colony in Washington, AKA The State Department, has announced a warning to American citizens not to travel to the area.

And then here comes Hamas, the equally unelected and unmandated rulers of Gaza, so as not to be denied their place in the limelight declaring that any foreign troops stationed in any part of Palestinian land is tantamount to occupation and should be totally rejected. They call upon Mr. Mahmoud Abbas to stop negotiating with our enemies. Armed struggle, they say, is the only way to liberate Palestine.

"No Hamas No Peace" - electronicintifada.net

All very well. But what do you call armed struggle when the President of the Palestinian Authority has clearly said we put the arms struggle behind us? Mr. Abbas has thrown in the towel. Is lobbing ineffective, homemade rockets over the border armed struggle when we know that Israel will clobber Gaza very hard, fully aware that the Palestinian Authority will not lift a finger? Israel wastes no time in unleashing its wrath on Gaza in the name of self-defence and security, using state-of-the-art arms and equipment supplied by the USA. Is this a price worth paying?

I wonder what happened to those reconciliation attempts that have been going on for years between Fatah and Hamas? Further, I wonder where is the Palestinian nation in all of this? But of course, as I said, we don’t exist, according to the Zionists.

As Golda Meir once said: "How can we return the occupied territories? There is nobody to return them to".

That was in March 1969. In June the same year she went on to say in an interview with the British national newspaper, The Sunday Times: “There is no such thing as the Palestinian people. It’s not as if we came and took their country from them…they simply didn’t exist.”

It is an extraordinary statement, especially if you read the words of Israeli historian, Professor Ilan Pappe, in his published book, ‘The Ethnic Cleansing of Palestine’ who describes one particular event witnessed by Golda Meir.

“After the Jewish Terror gangs’ raid on Haifa Golda Meir, one of the senior Zionist leaders, visited Haifa a few days later. She at first found it hard to suppress a feeling of horror when she entered Arab homes where cooked food still stood on the tables, children had left toys and books on the floor, and life appeared to have frozen in an instant. Meir had come to Palestine from the US, where her family had fled in the wake of pogroms in Russia, and the sights she witnessed that day reminded her of the worst stories her family had told her about the Russian brutality against Jews decades earlier. But this apparently left no lasting mark on her or her associates' determination to continue with the ethnic cleansing of Palestine.”

The truth, no matter how they address it and present it, is that the Zionist aim has been, from the very start, the total usurping of the historic land of Palestine, preferably with no Palestinians in it.

In conclusion, it doesn’t take a genius to guess what is the aim of the Zionists in Palestine and everywhere. To create the new Kingdom of David, otherwise known as Eretz Israel, from the Nile to the Euphrates. What Mr. Kerry is proposing for us Palestinians is a cantonised, completely ineffective de-militarised miniscule area of the historic land of Palestine, governed by Israel for the benefit of Israel to the detriment of the indigenous Palestinian population. The Israelis would control the borders, the national resources, the air space, the seashore and the land. The Palestinians would be herded into these dissected and totally surrounded areas with no rights or status. A police force would be allowed and, from past experience we know whom they would police and for whose benefit.

Forget the right of return, as enshrined in the UN resolution 194. It is perceived as being a demographic threat to the Jewish state.

Forget the sharing of Jerusalem, as envisioned in UN resolutions. The Israelis see it as the eternal, undivided capital of the Jewish state, despite being the centre of the three major religions of the book, Judaism Christianity and Islam.

Al Aqsa Mosque, the third holiest shrine in Islam is not safe. There are plans afoot to demolish it and replace it with a Jewish temple. And Gaza could sink further into the sea of sewage for all Israel cares.

The settlements are perceived to be a God given right and will not be removed.

In view of the above can you see any chance of a just equitable and lasting peace with these people?

The only thing that I can see working for us Palestinians if we are to regain any of our stolen land is to forget these futile negotiations. Unite and stand fast in front of our formidable enemies. United we stand, divided we fall.

My advice to both main factions in Palestine, Fatah and Hamas is put your differences aside. Forget partisan and ideological loyalties. Start consultations amongst all Palestinians everywhere. Make the liberation of our land your only priority because without unified resistance the cause is lost.

Why does the United States of America support the Zionist line in such a blind folded way while ignoring the legitimate rights of the indigenous Palestinian people? Particularly as the Palestinian people harbour no ill feelings towards America and its people nor has ever caused them any harm. It is, Jafar says, a conundrum.

Well said .. Whatever the Zionists planning and what they can achieve are too different things, they are having a hard time controlling the Palestinians within historical Palestine, the resistance i believe will be stronger and will always be like a fish bone in their throats.... FYI, the last photo in the article shows the Dome of the Rock not Alaqsa Mosque ...
