(SALEM) - The man who allegedly planted pipe bombs on four sport utility vehicles in the Salem-area that sent the community into panic back in August, is scheduled to appear in a Marion County Courtroom Tuesday morning. 44-year-old Lonnie Troy Glinski was arrested on Oct. 16th at his home in Sweet Home. He is charged with seven counts of attempted aggravated murder and four counts of possession of a destructive device. The four bombs were attached to the undercarriages of the SUVs. None exploded, but they could have caused serious injury or death if they had, Salem police said. The bombs targeted Glinski's ex-wife, Stephanie Glinski, of Salem; Denise C. Foster of Salem and her son; and Mitchell Adams of Salem. According to court documents Glinski wanted to kill his ex-wife so he could get full custody of their children and would no longer have to pay child support. Glinski’s girlfriend, 50-year-old Laurie Lee Girtman, also of Sweet Home, was charged with hindering prosecution involving the disposing of evidence in the case. The pre-trial hearing is set to begin at 8:30 AM. Articles for February 12, 2007 | Articles for February 13, 2007 | Articles for February 14, 2007 | Support Salem-News.com: Quick Links

how much to get him back on the street?.,nobody dead or injured but the accused himself it appears., and he's a pretty inept bomb maker, or he wasn't trying to kill them in the first place.,he ought to get hold of the Taser's parasitic legal Waste Managemant team!, they wouldn't stand for this kind of citizen harrassment!., as long as you can get away with tasering an infant.,no worries right?! so how much Mr. "supreme court" judge?

I don't know what his thought process was but didn't he at least consider that even if the bombs DID go off that they would easily figure out the connection between the victims?

am I imagining things or does he kind of look like George Bush? I mean I am glad the bombs didn't go off and no one was physically injured as I read in the article.,but I coulndn't help noticing the similarity. And how come none of them went off? I mean did he plan on homicide or getting caught?
