Police Pursuit of Sex Offender Ends in Injury Crash

The alleged driver is a registered sex offender currently on probation for tampering with a witness and eluding a police officer.

(CLACKAMAS, Ore.) - A police pursuit began early this morning at about 4:08 AM, when a Clackamas County Sheriff's Deputy attempted to stop a black Cadillac on SE McLoughlin Blvd near Gladstone for a traffic infraction.

Detective Jeffrey Green with the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office, says the vehicle did not yield to the deputy and attempted to eluded the deputies and other units.

The vehicle traveled north on McLoughlin to the area of Courtney and turned west, Green said, then it came to a quick end.

"The vehicle crashed at 1415 SE Courtney Ave, Milwaukie, Oregon. The vehicle nearly went into the residence at the location."

The vehicle's occupants, 24-year old Bobby Alexander and 20-year old Crystal Milsbury, were transported to local hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.

Green says Bobby Alexander is a registered sex offender and is currently on probation for tampering with a witness and eluding a police officer. He was driving the vehicle while he license was suspended for failure to comply, a violation.

The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office is investigating the accident for DUII, Assault in the Third Degree, Attempting to Elude a Police Officer, and Criminal Mischief. No arrests have been made in the investigation.
