(LONDON) - This poem written by Arthur Jewell during the Israeli attack on Gaza that we refer to as 'Cast Lead' (consider that name for a moment...) was sent into the newsroom today by our correspondent in London, Gilad Atzmon.

It injects into a few simple verses, the magnitude of Israel's seemingly endless attack on mostly civilian targets. We are reminded that Israel has the best weapons sighting software and systems known to man, yet they claimed they were 'mistaken' when it was shown that Israel had selected numerous occupied schools as targets.

This, as Israel dropped leaflets warning of the pending destruction, suggesting residents take shelter in certain locations, which were then attacked by the Israeli military with illegal white phosphorous.

At the end of the day, there can not exist a single human being who would approve of such barbaric and uber cruel mechanisms of destruction. It is just simply as evil as any military war of occupation, oppression and attrition.

This is the year people from all over the world will rise up and resoundingly say "no" to Israel's destruction of the Palestinian culture. We will stop it with the use of massive numbers of human beings united under a single cause.

When considering Israel and Operation Cast Lead, any nation that sponsors this level of terrorism on a civilian population essentially gives up its right to pull a chair up to the bargaining table and make a deal. That time is passed and the one thing we know is that Israel will not fight fair and they won't wage a war of honesty as we do.
