Israel: 'Take it from the Horse's Mouth'

“Everyone has to move, run and grab as many hilltops as they can to enlarge the settlements, because everything we take now will stay ours” - Ariel Sharon, 1998

Never Before Campaign for Palestine

(TEL AVIV) - If one wants to know why and how the conflict started in Palestine more than 60 years ago, the "confessions" of Israeli and Zionist leaders should make it very clear.

700,000 Palestinians (more than half of the Palestinian population at the time) were expelled in 1948. During this period, more than 600 towns and villages were ethnically cleansed.

Thousands were killed and maimed.

That may be an historic tragedy, but the crimes continue to this date, and so does the unjustified condoning attitude of "civilized" governments.

At the very top of that list, is the United States of America; the western nation that claims to be a beacon of freedom, yet the same country that has fueled the financial end of Israel's persecution and open racism toward those who are not Jewish.

In fact it is very ironic that the United States touts freedom and its ability to deliver democracy in areas that leave up to or over a million dead civilians behind as a result.

The people who can adequately discuss the pattern of events that resulted in a literal genocide of the Palestinian population, are the Israelis themselves.

If you have trouble believing these Israeli leaders made these actual statements, you are in luck. Simply fisit the list of sources of the quotes please go to the Never Before Campaign for Palestine on Facebook.

Special thanks to Gilad Atzmon
