Man-Eating Giants Discovered in Nevada Cave

"...the archaeologists came to the inescapable conclusion that the Paiutes myth was no myth; it was true.

(CHICAGO ) - The Paiutes, a Native-American tribe indigenous to parts of Nevada, Utah and Arizona, told early white settlers about their ancestors' battles with a ferocious race of white, red-haired giants. According to the Paiutes, the giants were already living in the area.

The Paiutes named the giants Si-Te-Cah that literally means “tule-eaters.” The tule is a fibrous water plant the giants wove into rafts to escape the Paiutes continuous attacks.

According to the Paiutes, the red-haired giants stood as tall as 12-feet and were a vicious, unapproachable people that killed and ate captured Paiutes as food.

The Paiutes told the early settlers that after many years of warfare, all the tribes in the area finally joined together to rid themselves of the giants.

One day as they chased down the few remaining red-haired enemy, the fleeing giants took refuge in a cave. The tribal warriors demanded their enemy come out and fight, but the giants steadfastly refused to leave their sanctuary.

Frustrated at not defeating their enemy with honor, the tribal chiefs had warriors fill the entrance to the cavern with brush and then set it on fire in a bid to force the giants out of the cave.

The few that did emerge were instantly slain with volleys of arrows. The giants that remained inside the cavern were asphyxiated.

Later, an earthquake rocked the region and the cave entrance collapsed leaving only enough room for bats to enter it and make it their home.

Hundreds of years later archaeologists explored the cavern near Lovelock, Nevada--the cave the Indians had described.

What the scientific researchers found was staggering: over 10,000 artifacts were unearthed including the mummified remains of two red-haired giants—one, a female 6.5-feet tall, the other male, over 8-feet tall.

Many of the artifacts (but not the giants) can be viewed at the small natural history museum located in Winnemucca, Nevada.

As the excavation of the cave progressed, the archaeologists came to the inescapable conclusion that the Paiutes myth was no myth; it was true.

What led them to this realization was the discovery of many broken arrows that had been shot into the cave and a dark layer of burned material under sections of the overlaying guano.

Among the thousands of artifacts recovered from this site of an unknown people is what some scientists are convinced is a calendar: a donut-shaped stone with exactly 365 notches carved along its outside rim and 52 corresponding notches along the inside.

In February and June of 1931, two very large skeletons were found in the Humboldt dry lake bed near Lovelock, Nevada.

Evidence of such a race has been found nationwide. Sure changes the landscape as far as benefits of any kind, to anyone claiming to be of America's original peoples. The fact that I was born here in the US makes me original enough in my mind, to question claims by ANY and ALL living groups being catered too by tax payers. Assimilation is THEE only solution....otherwise, it is time to recognize those who were here BEFORE our greedy tribal leaders and their own ancestors.

I left a comment earlier...I don't know if it will be approved but when I stated the bones and remnants of these giants were taken by the Paiutes and called sacred, which keeps anybody from seeing, touching or examining DNA I left out a crucial piece. The Paiutes may have a monetary loss if proven they were not native but I grew up with the Paiute, ute tribes people and they could care less. They are good people that just want to be who they want to be. That said the usual was behind the "sacred" call. You guessed it. Our pathetic puppet govt and organized religion. What in the hell are they constantly trying to hide? No wonder the American Indians consider us a plague? Overall we are great people...we just have assholes in control and we need to stop allowing this.

I used to live an hour away from Lovelock Nevada and it amazes me how very few people actually ever hear about the red-headed giants which DO exist. Fact: the Paiutes waived their native American wand and declared the remains "sacred", which means they keep the remains and nobody sees or can examine the DNA. Why??? It could very well prove they are NOT native americans...which, if you think about it makes perfect sense. I highly doubt given the new settlements and artifacts found on the east coast, novia scotia and in the Midwest that what we call native americans are NATIVE americans. Hell, "American" is just a word we made up a couple of hundred years ago. The only thing we really KNOW is that we don't KNOW shit about this big old world. The native americans beat the Europeans over to the western continents but that doesn't make them "native". WHAT THE HELL! WHO CARES WHO IS NATIVE...We have PROOF of a race of 13' tall Read headed giants and PC correctness has made it an illusion not to be studied or investigated further. The religious call them nephilum, some call them anunaki, some from the egyption pharoh's. Wouldn't it be nice to KNOW at least a little about them?? Also, how do we know the were canibals? We can't study their remains to know what they ate. How do we know they weren't actually gentle plant eaters? We are basing everything off hearsay from the Paiute tribe who from what I can tell were always attacking "the giants". Its easy to tell history when you are the only one left to tell it.

If you look up the museum mentioned in the above article you can see the following info on their website. Yes the museum could be deceiving concerning all stated but one would think that at least some of the many artifacts would be scaled more towards a giant yet they do not appear to be. I believe there were giants as evidence seems overwhelming yet I cant help wonder about this. Below is what the museum states A series of archaeological surveys of the cave were performed and determined that during its time of occupation, the cave had been a rock shelter overlooking Humboldt Lake. The recovered remains of the inhabitants, although slightly more robust, were not beyond normal size parameters. The Humboldt Museum once offered a display of some of the human remains found at what is known as the Humboldt Sink near Lovelock Cave. In respect for American Indians and compliance with NAGPRA, the display was removed. All human remains have been repatriated. HUMBOLDT MUSEUM DOES NOT POSSESS ANY HUMAN REMAINS OR FUNERARY ITEMS.

it's true alright. the mummy w/ the arms crossed is another find, not from the cave. i have seen the skull(s) compared to modern humans, definitely NOT close to typical. funny how nobody really talks or spends much time on such an amazing part of n. am. history, or should i say ODD!!!

Warplover, you've got things backwards. If there was irrefutable proof of god, a true scientist would have to accept it. Evolutionists don't hate god, they don't acknowledge god. Only satanists hate god, because you can't hate something you don't believe exists. So I think the most likely explanation is that these "giants" are most definately not "angels," just large people, and the church is throwing its weight around covering these findings up. I think its hilarious that all the crazy religious people can't conceive of an idea that this giant race of people might have just been a large race of people, not "angels."

I have lived in Nevada for 22 years, have been to Lovelock and Winnemucca many times, but never heard of the Lovelock Caves and the redheaded giants until I saw it on the History Channel. What a great channel. They are teaching us more than we learned in 12 years of school. That pertains to Science, History and Religion. I also watch the Ancient Aliens and that theory totally makes sense to me. I think our kids in school should be taught the truth, as are learning it later in life and on tv. I believe they mentioned that the Giants may have come from Fallen Angels (Extraterrestrials) that came to Earth and bred with the women on this planet. Also read that the destruction of Sodam and Gamorrah (sp) might have had to do with the sins of these fallen angels interbreeding with human woman. Totally interesting to me. Does anybody know if I am even close.

This story is on the history channel...very interesting...they showed the actual skulls and jawbones and a jawbone from an average man in the museum-the skulls are kept in a cabinet-not on display...fascinating

There were some tall red haired people found in the cave. But they were not 12 feet tall, and they did not look like Rameses. A 7 ft 4 inch skeleton is in possession of a museum in Virginia city. A 16 inch moccasin found in the cave is in the museum in Reno, or Carson city. They were big people, maybe 7 even 8 feet some of them.

There's no way the body shown was found in some Nevadan cave- it looks to me like an Egyptian mummy, evidenced by the deliberately crossed arms and excellent preservation. Certainly not a naturally created mummy, and most definitely not 10,000 plus years old.

I would really love to see some further documentation on this story - it sounds fascinating and it's a very interesting tale, but the lack of any sort of citation to the actual research, etc. is sort of concerning. I'd like to read some of the actual archaeological reports or examinations from people who were there.

Please research your stories better. The remains found in Lovelock cave were of normal size, and while the Paiute legend may describe an actual event, certain aspects were exaggerated to make a better story...
