(SALEM, Ore.) - The FBI and the Salem Police Department are asking for the public's help to identify a man who robbed the Heritage Grove Credit Union, located at 631 Winter Street NE, on Wednesday, December 16th at 5:08 pm.

The robber walked into the bank, approached the teller desk, demanded money, received money and left. He was last seen on foot moving along a dark pathway toward Cottage Street.

During the course of the robbery, he threatened that he had a weapon. No one was hurt.

Description:

White man
Height: 5'9"
Build: Medium
Clothing: Wearing a coat that is solid white on the bottom half and blue on the top half with a white stripe across the chest. Also wearing dark-colored gloves and a red, white and blue patterned beanie cap
Other: Glasses

Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI in Portland twenty-four hours a day at (503) 224-4181; the FBI in Salem during normal business hours at (503) 362-6601, or the Salem Police Department at (503) 588-6123.
