(SALEM, Ore.) - An Israeli security official who declined to be identified, says Israel's spy agency plans to use the Quds Intifada to identify the Palestinian resistance leaders in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank in order to assassinate them.

The Israeli security official said that all people who are identified are the ones reportedly involved in the 51-day war in 2014.

He added that they have also played a key role in stimulating and motivating people to take part in recent protests.

It is further alleged that the Israeli regime is using settlers to commit crimes against Palestinians in the West Bank, and Salafi extremists aligned with the regime are doing the same thing in the Gaza Strip.

The failed assassination attempt on Sabirin Resistance Movement Leader Hisham Salem in the Gaza Strip on Friday, 09 October 2015, is one the examples said to be the work of the Zionist regime.
